Feb 19, 2013ok problem solved, it was a combination of minecraft making the audio quieter than in WMP and my audio being quiet in general. I raised my system volume to 12% and it is audible now. its wierd that minecraft plays it quieter than in WMPPosted in: Java Edition Support
Feb 9, 2013so, I recently updated to 1.4.7 after not having played since version 1.3.2.Posted in: Java Edition Support
Everything works perfectly fine, except the walking on grass sound does not play. I have checked, and the file is in my resources folder and when i play it, it has the correct sound, its just minecraft is not playing the sound. I have updated LWJGL to the latest version, and have forced an update in mc. Every other sound plays, just not this one, which I find very weird.
Any help is appreciated.

If you read the OP, you should see the POST YOUR SYSTEM SPECS phrase. So please post it, it may be a hardware problem. Maybe your video card is old, or unsupported.
Check gbuffers_terrain.fsh, then add a // (double slash) in front of each waving effect you don't want. (for example, i kept all but leaves, because jungles were a mess)
thanks, I was confused at first because its actually gbuffers_terrain.vsh but i figured it out. thanks for the help
also yeah, i just disabled leaves because jungles were ultra laggy.

Mar 13, 2012Hi,Posted in: Modification Development
I have seen mods around that use custom class names instead of modifying notch classes. How do I do this, and can I do it with MCP?
EDIT: I'm used to C++, so if explaining it that way helps you explain it better, please do so.
Also I've never made an MC Mod before

it turns out that the scottools one does work, its just that it only works when I combined the 3 manually.
also, the vines texture is messed up, I dont know if you can, but can you just use the texture from the vines built into the game?
Also for some reason, the ores cause weird light glitches, and the ores have light coming from them, too.
