Hi, I like the sounds of helping you set up an 80 slot medieval themed towny server. It's that kind of server I've been looking for for awhile now. I have a years experience on such servers, but recently a group of friends fell apart and the servers went down or became dull. Now, I'll adopt the application format to make this easy:
What do you like to do in minecraft: I like to design and build houses, shops, cities, mines, roads, bridges, tunnels, train stations, and arenas.
minecraft experience: Building all of the above, whilst not sacrificing aesthetics. Since the early days of alpha, and a year now on similarly themed servers.
are you good at building: yes.
Picutes? (optional): unfortunately I've had to delete, and reinstal minecraft so many times I don't have any screens.
How would you help out: I'll help you devise the layout of the land, help build a safe, welcoming, and instructional spawn tutorial, and advise you on what I think are good plugins for this kind of server.

Hi, my name is Henry. My IGN matches my MCForums username. My timezone is Pacific Standard Time (West Coast NA). I've played on a number of servers and acted as a mod for a short while once. I'm familiar with most plugins although I admit I'm unfamiiar with MyMcAdmin. I'm a very adept builder and redstone technician, I love working with pistons and minecart track systems. My experience is however limited to Vanilla Minecraft.
I'm wondering what kind of server you're setting up. Are you going for a medieval feel? With plugins like towny, or factions, iconomy, and chest shop? If so, I'm very interested in helping set that up. I have a track record of running very successful towns and factions in my previous servers. Having the opportunity to start that from the ground up, on a fresh server, would be fantastic.
I need people to move into my town. I have farms, tree farms, a smithy, and I'm building a Quarry. So I need farmers, loggers, miners and a Quarry Master. I am open to having others open up shop in my town provided they stick to the building style. You can set up farms of other plants, help build a dock and trade goods across the sea with other towns (once they exist), or work under me as a builder to shape the walls, roads, shipyard, and quarries. Come help build Aurora of the North into a powerful City.
Go North from the spawn house (opposite the dirrection of the message board) and follow the Valley through the mountains and you will find Aurora of the North.

First and foremost, My apologies. I know Vengurd from the last two servers I've called home and he's very trustworthy. Regarding my actions, when I went through the tutorial, at the end it told me to use the /warp spawn command to get out of the tutorial hall. Having heard from Vengurd that he had reached the end but had missed, or forgotted that tid-bit of information I told him to use that command. I realize I'm fairly new and not yet trusted by the administration, so the people I consider trustworthy has no authority. I apologize for this trip up, and I will not repeat this offense.
Thank you for not banning me outright, and I hope this apology is satisfactory as an appeal.
Is there no whitelist? No application process? Do I just say my IGN is Bananas2112 and I wish to join? Your initial blurb is pretty vague. Is it all about the PvP or are there reasonable civilizations that doesn't get blown to pieces every week and conduct trade and economy?

What you can contribute: I'm very good at building, and setting up realistic environments in game.
What you're great at building: Houses, Farms, Mines, Rail Networks.
Daily time playing: about an hour.
