Orchids are so beautiful and their form has been described as reminiscent of female anatomy and potions using orchid flowers was supposed to incite Venus and act as an aphrodisiac. We buy orchids that usually last no more than a month.
You know once they finish blooming they will bloom again?
Some you can even trick into blooming again sooner, though it is hard on the plant.

I use strictly stone picks to harvest coal, iron and cobblestone. I only use more powerful picks on ores which are impossible to harvest without. I also only use stone axes and shovels. I do not like unnecessarily depleting items made of more valuable resources. :tongue.gif:
But hey, it does pay off... I have plenty of iron with which to make armor. :biggrin.gif:

The only time I use Iron picks is for branch mining when I will get 3x the iron ore I put into the picks and if I have to use one to get the ore.
A few yeas ago I had a severe allergic reaction to an unknown substance and was sent to the hospital in seizures. :/ They never did figure out what it was I'd had such a bad reaction to.
Then there was the time I had Mono, it began with a 104 temp with cold/hot flashes and vomiting, followed by two months of not being able to move. I had to skip a semester of college because of it. Mono sucks!
I came to say Mono as well.
Started with the Dr thinking I had a sinus infection... then a cold... then step throat... then he finally thought "Maybe we should test you for Mono" after he gave me antibiotics thinking it was a sinus infection and shots for step throat.
Took two months to get over it. I was lucky it happened in the summer between semesters.

Well, for me, last night my mom got an iPad. But let me tell you, she is a total technology noob. She doesn't even know how to use the iPad, she doesnt know what iTunes is or how to download apps. And you know when you first buy an iPad there are pre-installed apps like the camera iTunes an app store right? My mom asked my sister why angry birds isn't installed as well. Seriously, my mom made me face palm so ****ing hard.
So? You grew up with technology. It is a different way of thinking.
My Mom is terrible with it. At least your Mom knows about Angry Birds.
My parents grew up on a farm and raised animals. Throw me out there and they would be doing face palm.
Wooooooooooooooow, that's GORGEOUS! I always have had rotten luck with orchids. I think it's just too cold for them here.

Where have you bought orchids and where do you live? I am sure there is something that you can grow. Everyone can grow Jewel Orchids (I have one), but they don't get amazing flowers. But, there are over 28,000 orchids before you start talking about Hybrids. There is something that can be grown in your area.
I live in a HOT climate and I actually think a cold one would be easier :tongue.gif:

Not sure who would care on a game forum, but my Paphiopedilum Orchid opened on Friday. I am pretty excited by it. Currently the only one I have in bloom. The other ones all just went out of bloom. I have a Cymbidium that should be in spike right now, but I am not sure what is up with it.
According to SPC, I used about 11 thousand blocks (probably less than that). But I'm guessing that for a decent size ship you could use around 5-7 thousand maybe?
Wow, I better start saving up some blocks to build one then.
Love to walls to tell you what color the wool is. I am really excited about sheep regrowing wool and want to make a color coded sheep farm. But, I have been breeding them and killing them for wool and exp currently.
I unfortunately don't have much iron for shears since I have been using it all to make pistons (plus some reserved for mining). Otherwise, I need a couple hundred pistons to complete my current project.
But Creepers really suck when the sneak up some place and damage what you are building. I came out of my home thinking I had enough lights inside my fenced area (maybe I did and he got in anther way). He was RIGHT against the wall to my house when he went off.
I now keep all my crates with supplies on floor 2 and 3 of my tower. Floor 1 is empty. I don't know if their blast will take out a chest, but that explosion was close to taking out a double chest of mine.
I have a small village full of farms. I have been spending time making large automatic farms or indoor farms. The village is surrounded by a trench that traps mobs. I went with a trench so I can expand the town easily without having to move walls.
I got hit by a creeper in the inside of the village early on so there are also many fences and gates letting me cut the town into small zones. I can check a zone for mobs before I move into it if I am worried about a breech.

Yes SPC have WorldEdit on it, which is some sort of terrain editor in game. Didn't know about it till the other day either. Anyway, another option would be building it directly in the water. Maybe you can surround and area and take out all the water. Or building it on land and move the sea. :biggrin.gif: It would be awesome to do it legit.

Jewel Orchid in Spike.
Cymbidium... This one should be in spike (growing buds). I don't know what is wrong with it. It is a huge plant.
Odontoglossum Hybrid. This one is awesome. The plant is close to 3 feet tall when in bloom.
