Broken server, broken rules, useless mods, pay to win mechanics, no help for newbies beyond a basic tool kit, broken economy ruled by long term players who charge exorbitant prices for stuff newbies can't afford.....only way to get anywhere or to do anything is to join a town and then play during off peak hours, grinding relentlessly and hoarding your stuff....not fun at all, avoid at all costs.

What's our policy on raging: don't rage! It's a challenging server, but you can do it! If you get defeated, it's a temporary setback- don't give up! Build your base and ship better and get revenge!......yes i copy pasted....

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN: I took a break from MC for a while and I would like to hop back into the survival side of things after doing some free building on bigger more populated server, the challenge of survival is what draws me back and...the adventure of exploring a world that isn't already overrun with builds.
WHAT CAN YOU BENEFIT TO THE SERVER: I write I draw I ponder and sing....I love helping others with any and everything...I don't mind boring tasks I don't mind falling from space...I do not enjoy griefers...and I shall punch them in the face....I know most of the recipies for blocks galore and I would love to teach others so that they can learn even more.

So I dropped by this morning....just to re-visit the server around 5 am-ish my time...and the server is still down 5 going on 6 hours later...hope everything is ok.
I'm a dedicated builder that throws himself into projects. This recently backfired on me when one silly mistake lead me to losing a ton of stuff....I took it rather badly...ragequit for a week, then saw BaconDonut lose a ton more than me...and he got over it quickly, realized how silly I was for taking it that badly, and am now looking for a new minecraft server to call home. I've never been banned and have built some cool stuff on the MamaBear and Lapidem servers, I'm an artist...if I'm not creating something...I'm all bleh. Which is why I love minecraft, so many different materials, and ways to throw stuff together plus the element of exploration on a brand new map. And the chance of losing everything, which I guess I've been pampered by too many recent MMOs that made death meaningless, so now I don't take it as seriously. I'm a social guy and I would love to be apart of your server to help others build and to create some new stuff myself.

Take a chance on a guy named Orpheus, I've helped to build nether hubs on my past two servers, opened up new biomes, gathered and quarried materials for new people, I want to learn more about the game as I'm relatively new to it, and I want to help make a place for other people like me that thrive on creating new things. My interests cover a variety of subjects and I think I could help to make the server a welcoming and interesting place to play.
So I took a week to decompress....talked to a few minecraft streamers....then saw someone lose more than me while playing hardcore mode...and they laughed it off and I realized how silly I was being...I'd like to come back if you'll have me, if not, then I understand that as well.
I'm sorry I can't play this game anymore....I pour hours upon hours of my life into building stuff and then I die to something stupid making all those hours of saving and trying and mindless bloody work worth NOTHING at all having to start over from scratch just to get to the point where I can farm and cross my fingers at the enchant table that I'll get gear and drops and ores just like I had so I can do even more boring stuff just to reach biomes where I'm the only one building where I'm the only one seeing anything that I'm doing and basically no one cares.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...I quit.
I'm a dedicated builder and player with experience handling people in other MMOs and such games. I was a fan of legos when I was younger, so I have a delightful addiction to this game. I love exploring other folks builds and sometimes just picking a direction and running to see what I find. In my last server, Lapidem, I helped to construct a nether hub along with setting up "Jump Off" points for new players in various biomes. I tend to idiot proof stuff with signs and directions and chests full of extra food or mats. I enjoy discovering funny little things about minecraft....like how if you harvest an ice block with silk touch, and then break it, it acts as a water source block...built some fun little waterfalls that way. I left my last server due to basically falling in lava while caving and thought "Ya know...I'm not sure what else to do now.."...I'd built all I wanted there and I thought this might be a great chance for a fresh start. I'm tolerant of others and patient when it comes to most things. I think you should accept me because of that and because I think I'd provide a fresh perspective on building. Also I do have a past educational history centered around anthropology so I sometimes inadvertently build stuff that my subconscious remembers from textbooks. I'm leaving the server, so you can take me off the whitelist. I just fell in lava and lost everything...and staying around would only worsen the memory of what I had. So enjoy the builds, I had a great time with you guys, and I hope others join you. This is a great server despite the odd crash every now and again! They have a nether hub set up that connects to all major biomes and jumping off points in all biomes to start building off from. The admins are fair and the owner is a really nice guy. The community is fantastic and I'm sad to leave but like I said....after losing that much...ya gotta start fresh somewhere else.
