I’ve made another version and still no results. I’d like to add there are no villagers or profession blocks within 100 blocks (but there are some within 110 blocks).
I am trying to build an iron farm (similar to the one in the linked video except I moved villagers and their beds to the center). There are 10 villagers, each with a profession block and associated profession and there are 21 beds, each as specified. There is also a bell. However, for some reason no iron golems are spawning. Any help is appreciated.
So I’m starting to dabble in Java with some of the more popular mods and while my laptop was able to handle a few of them, I’m now over 40 and it can’t do it anymore. I’m really interested in potentially buying/putting together a PC/or preferably a laptop, that can handle a pretty heavy amount of mods and a good shader pack. Minecraft’s the only game I play so I don’t need something that can handle the graphically intensive games. However, I don’t really know where to begin my search, as I don’t know a ton about computers, and I’m working with a budget of $500. If someone could point me in the right direction or help me our that would be great.
I was able to get the item sorter working by moving the hoppers out away from the center a block each. It seems the wheat was just flying over, but now it is going in. So that’s good. But I’ve run into another problem. I’ve been giving the villager seeds to replant the farm, but he isn’t doing it. I can’t figure out why that’s not working now.
I recently watched the following video concerning an automatic wheat farm where water rushes harvested wheat down a channel along with seeds but the wheat is supposed to be picked up by two hoppers into an item sorter and stored in a chest while the seeds flow through a hole and don’t get collected by the hopper/item sorter. However, when I build it (albeit in Bedrock, but should that change it?) the wheat is not collected by the hoppers and joins the seeds in flowing past them. Is there something that could be wrong?
I’ve seen some tutorial videos () for some basic automatic pig farm machines that have lava kill the pigs to cook the pork. In the videos they work perfectly, but when I’m testing them out in my world, the lava from the dispensers doesn’t disappear before the pigs die like it is supposed to and therefore it destroys the pork drops. Is this an outdated method or is there something I could change?
Hello, I am creating my first ever modded Minecraft world and have been searching for different mods to add. I've been interested in the DecoCraft2 mod for 1.12.2, however when ever I place it in my mods folder, the game crashes. This is the only mod that is causing this problem. Knowing that this mod eats up a significant chunk of RAM I allocated 4 GB of my computer's 8 GB RAM to Minecraft. I'm looking for advice on what else to change in order to fit this mod into my game. I'm not really experienced with the technicalities of mods and PC Minecraft so any specific instructions would greatly be appreciated.
So I have enjoyed both the PE and console versions of the game and would like to take the next step and go to the computer version. I'm trying the demo version before I go all-in. I have two PCs and one desktop, all having different properties. If you need me to get into those I will. On 1 PC and the desktop, I downloaded the game and was able to play. However, the one computer which I couldn't get it to work on is my main computer. When I hit "play demo world" it goes to the "loading world" "building terrain" screen and immediately crashes and restarts back to the Minecraft Launcher. Any idea how I can solve my problem on this computer?
P.S. The latest version of Java has been downloaded.
