I didn't say you have to have it with better farming, I said that it was a modloader failure or some kind of failure to do with the block texture sheet that modloader overwrites, it for some reason overwrites the jungle logs or something. I just said that I had it happen with better farming. namely in my occurence all the jungle logs were greyed out apple leaves. >_>
*palms my face* it seems I am not the only one getting that bug with certain mods... cause an other mod (namely better farming) did that for some reason with the jungle trees too.... I have a feeling it's something to do about modloader being silly about what spots in the sprites thingy are used and not used and so it overwrites stuff it shouldn't and hence gives you this strange texture thing... just try to ignore it. the wood is still wood, just a strange texture... or atleast that was the case with better farming...
Yes i know its still wood. But it looks kinda ugly. If you have a house in the jungle its kinda hard to ignore. Also im not using better farming. The mods i have installed are: Minecraft capes, Modloader (of course), somnia, rei's minimap, what's my light level, optifine, inventory tweaks, too many items and single player commands.
You know what? Seriously gimping this update. You get your update in 1 hour give or take. It's not finished. I haven't implemented everything I want to but who cares?
Well i care. I preferer to wait a bit more so that the release is bug free (as much as possible), but i understand that you must be tired of people constantly nagging you about the update. In the end you are the mod creater so you do whatever you want to do with it.
I just cant make this work. I added the zip file to mcpatcher and patched the game. And then copied the config file to .minecraft folder. I don't know what i did wrong.
iron golem textures are out of place, anyone are having this issue? 32x32 texture pack
I dont know which texture pack you are using. But since they fixed the iron golem model some older texture packs make the iron golems textures look out of place. For example when i used an older version of gerudokuRPG this problem happened, but when i updated the texture pack it worked fine. So if you update the texture pack it should work fine. If it doesn't work, then you need to provide information with more detail.
I am rocking a 2.7 GHz intel i7 core 4GB memory Macbook Pro, lus it's plugged into a giant desktop screen. I am on Fancy and Far without ANY lag (well, there's a bit when i boot it up but that's it) It's also Dual Core and Intel HD Graphics 3000. Oh yeah baby. Supercomputer here. All you guys exchange your crappy pcs in for macs!!!!
With 2.7GHz dual core and 4 GB its hardly a super computer.

Humm..., was this supposed to happen, or is it a bug?

Then its because you installed it wrong. It works perfectly fine.
