Ok, so I got a new minecraft.jar, completely clean and deleted everything I had on my minecraft folder. Set up the server with my IP and tried connecting through localhost, didn't worked, BUT I tried it with just my IP and it worked..Weird, I took the hamachi IP and got the exact same results as before...I really don't know what's wrong..
If it fails with localhost, then something bigger is at work.
I suggest remaking the server from scratch. Make sure it works when using localhost and your internal IP address before you go further. If neigher of those work, then things be wrong.
Where is the server running? Your computer? A dedicated computer? A hosted server?
What are you using to connect? Localhost? The server computer's IP? Your external IP?

After struggling a couple of days to fix some problems related to Java, I finally managed to set up my own modded server. My friend and I are the only ones that play is said server, he has no problems with it, but my minecraft crashes everytime I try to connect. Help?

I really would like to play with my friend, but there's no way for me to connect to the server, I think that it's important for me to mention that we also have the "Metallurgy" mod installed and it is not spawning those ores anywhere..Nor can you search them in creative and place them in the ground because some message like "This block does not exist/is nowhere to be found" pops up..something like that, any help is greatly appreciated.
So I have been playing some new worlds and I noticed that I find really often Stone Monster egg blocks and Im curious about something, can they spawn randomly or I just have the best luck in the world and the end portal is right below my house?
