Nah I've only done creepers.. >.>
I mostly texture on a whim, when I feel like texturing something.
That's why even after a year I'm not finished.

Mar 24, 2012Ok I've redone the sandstone blocks.Posted in: Resource Packs
I've removed the overlay pattern for normal sandstone blocks.
I'll see how this looks for sandstone castles and I may change it in the future.
Also I found out how nice it is having different wood types to go with different materials. =P

I proposed this idea to daxnitro (since it's out of my abilities) and he didn't seem to want to work on it.

Would it be possible (either author so someone else) to rotate the light source path by 45 degrees?
So the light wouldn't be coming from the sun or moon any more (unless directly above).
Due to the way minecraft is made out of blocks having the light sources aligned to them cause lots of oddities on the sides of blocks (and I know you've done all you can to improve this).
I think this would be much preferable to having the sources aligned to the ones you see in the sky..
I attempted to make a diagram to help explain this.
Ok so the red line is the current path and the green line is the suggested path of the light sources.

Aza, I just want to say thank you for this texture pack. It is by far my favorite. To be honest I can't play minecraft without it. One question. Any chance of making textures for the Tekkit mod?
I was thinking sure if its a nice little mod, so I went to check it out...
Maybe if I ever get the urge to go on a texturing spree.
It's just so huuge and I havn't even finished vanilla yet =P
