The United States of America, once one of the greatest nations on Earth, was brought down by something microscopic, a virus. When this virus came into contact with a petroleum based substance such as gasoline, it produced sodium, causing it to combust. Whether the virus was released as an act of war or by accident remains unclear. What is certain is it brought the end of The Information Age. The world was thrown into chaos as nations exchanged nuclear arms, blaming each other for the destruction of their once great nations....or at least that's what the National History Archives say happened to the nation called America.
You are a citizen of the island nation known as Aur. A new civilisation has emerged, this time harnessing the power of the atom rather than that of fossils. This new civilisation is not without it's downfalls however, as massive paranoia of war and rebels has swept through the citizens.
The servers official theme is atompunk. This means it is similar to steamounk, except instead of being based on the 1700-1800s vision of the future, it is based on the 1950s-190s vision of the future. NO griefing!
NO stealing!
NO whining!
NO spam! We don't want to see your letter smashing.
NO duping! We don't want to find a chest full of stacks of diamonds or unrecognized items that can crash the server or someone.
NO hacking/modding. We have a plugin to detect if you attempt to speed-hack or fly-hack.
Keep buildings reasonable/realistic, we don't want to see 1x1 towers or ugly houses ANYWHERE.
Replant trees once cut, we don't want to have strange patches of open field for no reason, or half of a tree cut and it hovering.
Roleplay is ENFORCED! This means you have to roleplay at all times unless said otherwise by an Operator.
Have a REALISTIC SKIN! [Jumpsuits and the likes are strongly encouraged]
Do NOT have an overpowering character, meaning you cannot kill somebody in one sweep, or you cannot have crazy powers to make yourself invincible!
Everywhere is open PvP, but there will be police roaming the streets and investigations etc.

Personally, I like the old one better. It seemed a bit more.... cinematic. Where as the new one is just like some guy walking around with GUI hidden....

Why us?: I love RP servers. I have played on several. Fallout 3, in my
opinion, is one of the best games ever made. It offers a lot of freedom whilst maintaining an atmosphere of a story line.

Personality: Yuri is very cynical. He is usually distrusting of anyone in the wasteland.
In-game RP example: Petyr looked out the window of his aircraft. He knew his mission well, although he wasn't sure he would be able to complete it. "What do you think of the Fatherland's assignment?" muttered his friend, Alexei. "It's quite unusual" said Petyr, trying to talk over the noisy engines. Then the green light flickered on and the door opened. One by one the men jumped from the heavens into the gaping maw of hell that is war.
Background: Yuri was born in the sheltered world of a vault. Free from the outside world of corruption and evil, but he had his own challenges. He was constantly bombarded with propaganda to join an army. In Yuri's vault, before the bombs fell and the Earth scorched by atomic fire, a group of Soviet soldiers captured the vault. Upon mission success they failed to notify the Fatherland and set up their own civilization. When the bombs fell on October 23, 2077 the future residents were horrified to find the vault door sealed shut.
200 years and the vault has set up a standing army and is preparing invade post-war America. Yuri, once the Cheif of Mainence has now been called to duty. He took one last glance as the heavy vault door slid shut. He and his comrades set out to find and capture any abandon vaults. After exiting his vault, he discovered a bottle laying amongst the ruins, he opened it and exclaimed "Wow! That Nuka-Cola sure is tasty!"
Sorry it was a long week, plus I want them to be really fancy (you'll see) so expect them either this weekend or next as well as with the dark theme. My goal is to go Beta next weekend and re-post in the actual texture pack forum!
Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I can't make them do anything without modding Minecraft. I will consider removing them. Oh and by the way... it's supposed to be Google Chrome, not Windows :wink.gif:
