may be but that is up to how we build the map, maybe we can have dif chambers in each arena where you finish eche chamber then move on to the safe room
I think that there should be A) an incredibly difficult obstacle or :cool.gif: a hard to find switch that overrides the normal route. It would make for a more interesting way of playing, no?
Hey there! I've sort of been waiting a little impatiently for this topic to progress. Now I'm not the best at building but I think that I could help with stuff. I was originally signed up to be a beta tester but I think that it would be best to do a "test as you go" sort of thing. I can help, and would have said something earlier but I thought this had died.
Who here agrees that you should never ever buy anything other than intel processors, ever, no matter what?
Let's just face it. They suck at making everything else.
You my friend have one of the fastest notebook worthy intel graphics chipsets knows to man! Which means you've got crap. I agree with the other posts. If you have a desktop look for older model nvidia and AMD cards. I have an Nvidia geforce gts 250 from 3-4 years ago in my desktop and it runs much better games than minecraft flawlessly. (Was $200 at time of purchase)
The ingenious thing about creepers is that what we see as exploding is actually them reverting to microscopic gametes waiting to begin reproducing with other "exploded" creepers. When they get close to people it create a deep affection so strong to begin the creeper mating cycle. IT'S MINECRAFT SCIENCE! I could do this all day.
Simple!
In minecraft water is not actually a chemical, it is a living being capable of reproducing under stringent conditions. If enough air lies below the "water" multiplies asexually to fill the void but it can only spread a few blocks horizontally because the grass eats the water faster than it reproduces! IT'S MINECRAFT SCIENCE!
Because you're not punching it, you're exerting physical force over a short distance to disturb the blockular being of the cacti itself. IT'S MINECRAFT SCIENCE!
Okay, I guess I'm getting a little impatient here but I think it's been almost a month since the first post so that's understandable, right? I have a question about 1.8, are the challenges going to compensate for sprinting? That will make it very easy to make long and difficult pre-1.8 platforming short and simple. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, do beta-testers have to wait until this is complete before testing? It would be more practical to allow access to certain sections that are complete before the release is imminent. Wouldn't it be easier to act on the feedback a challenge gets when it's still being made than after all of them are complete? I doubt Notch wrote all the code of MineCraft a once before trying it himself... so why should we?
