posted a message on How can I install mods for older versions using the new launcher? (Version 1.1)

If you use the Curse (Now Twitch launcher) you can specify older minecraft versions and it will only allow you to see appropriate forge and mod versions for that version of Minecraft. It still allows you to manually install mods by dropping them in the mods folder as well as allowing you to export your files as a pack which can then be imported by another player.

posted a message on Looking for a mod to put item drops directly into inventory

Title says it, looking for a mod that takes items from block destruction and ai/player kills and puts them directly into the player's inventory. I don't mind what happens to items that just pop off in the world, such as water flow destroying a torch or sand falling on a torch. Anyone know of a mod that does something like this? I've seen a bukkit plugin and one for spigot as well, however I really don't want to go into that as I'm hosting a modded server just for 3-5 people.

    Any leads appreciated, thanks!

I love PEX especially for the options to do it all through in-game commands, and the mysql option is fantastic as well, most people are intimidated however by doing it all in-game because of the amount of typing that you need to do even for a handful of plugins.

Mousotron is a fun little program that monitors your keystrokes, clicks, and cursor distance, btw. =)

Also, an old friend of mine is most likely going to be helping out on the permissions manager, should have it cranked out in notime now. Lots of features that I can't blab about that I have planned for it, but it's more than what it appears at first glance.

No ETA, since I'll be working on it only in-between managing my server and work-work, but it could be a few months. I've got the majority of it plotted out, however.

I did misinterpret, as I glanced at your parsing and saw that the output is correct.

Your user section, however, is what is incorrect.
This is the corrected snippet. You do not need to add "Options"

I have added the Node you specified and still no such luck, I think you may have misinterpreted my request for help in some way, I am not asking how to get 1 specific command working, I am trying to get all of my permissions to work, It seems as though it might not be reading my permissions file correctly at the moment as it is specifically denying me access to any and all commands if I am not set to OP.

Again please feel free to request of me any extra information. and just as a side note it appears as though the server is starting up cleanly, with no errors.

I'm currently working on an online tool for this.

Thanks everyone for your help! As a sidenote, I'm very surprised community hasn't, with a better way to manage permissions. I have only seen one Tool. It's now outdated but it allowed individuals to add permissions in fields like filling out a form. Then it would spit out the correct formatting. Would love to see someone attempt that again it would save many people from nosebleeds headaches and red eyes :smile.gif:. Also there could be a database containing nodes for plug-ins would automatically be categorized based on admin, Moderator... Where it would automatically format and adjust based on your current plug-ins. Then all someone would have to do would adjust certain nodes manually according to their needs.

sethome is completely useless if you do not also have access to /home. Node is essentials.home

This was posted last August. I am no longer interested in the project, have turned to minecraft server management instead. Thank you, however, for your interest and opinions.

    Requesting topic lock/deletion.

Now running an open-world parkour map successfully. Adventure maps get rotated every two weeks, cheating is impossible, and the items in chests never need to be reset!
