    Just thought I'd leave this here on the offchance someone might like to see the end feature in action. I recently recorded this and while it was sort of buggy it was really fun.

    The main issues were of large groups pushing one another. It made climbing somewhat hazardous, especially around the void.

    I have a plethora of mods running right now alongside MCA. Not sure what you meant by seeing my granddaughter, but just in case you thought it was a separate mod entirely no. Having "great x#" grandchildren is a feature of MCA.

    The "tools" you saw were redstone swords, they rank slightly below steel and since they are easy to make I tend to give at least one of them to each family member. The tools in my hotbar are obsidian, they have extremely high durability but are completely mundane which means they have zero enchantability as a tradeoff. Adding mods to work alongside MCA is one of my favorite parts of it, it's fun to find new things to try and co-mingle with the villagers and your family and so far I haven't found a single conflict.
    I'd love to get something like goblins or atmosmobs running with it, but I'm fairly certain goblins will have conflicts with MCA and for some reason atmosmobs devastate my FPS.
    Now that I'm on the topic though, does anyone know if the goblins mod works alongside MCA?

    That's a lot of clones

    I may have to think of a smarter method of boosting population. I can't bring myself to just procreate endlessly and kill the failed experiments.

    What a shame, I always thought the roses were amusing.

    I can confirm though that while my town has spawned around 5 or 6 new villagers through children and guard spawning I haven't seen a single new skin. The upside however, is that after adding a good number of them there have been no errors/crashes to discourage it. I'll post confirmation as to whether or not I ever see one of the new villagers spawn, the odds are of course against it due to the sheer number of skins in MCA so it may be a while.

    That's what I assumed, but ran out of time yesterday evening before I managed to make a bunch of new villagers in skinedit. The only things that threw me through a loop were the "kid" files. I'd like to believe those are just unique skins that can only be spawned via having children and won't spawn naturally in villages but because I wasn't sure I didn't know if I wanted to expand them or not.

    Also, this is unrelated to the topic of adding skins/names. But is there any confirmation as to whether or not iron golems love these villagers? I have a small horde of IGs patrolling the streets of my town but they seem to have zero interest in flowers or mingling with the villagers. Is this a result of MCA or is it because these golems were fabricated by me and not the town?

    The newest child in town managed to get a new name, so that is confirmed for working. Not sure how to approach the skins though, since they are inside the jar itself and therefore a little more hazardous to tamper with. Especially since you even said you weren't sure about straight up adding new ones.

    Yeah, there is. Here is a little walkthrough on how to do so.
    TO REPLACE SKINS
    1.If you don't have Paint.NET, download it (it's free!).
    2.With winRAR or 7-zip, find the MCA characters. (%appdata%-Roaming-.minecraft-bin-minecraft-MCA)
    3.Open whatever skin you wanna replace with Paint.NET.
    4.Edit them in anyway you like.
    5.Copy it and place it in the "Sleeping" folder. (Must be edited with it's eyes closed!)
    6.If it asks to replace, click "Yes"
    7.Test it!
    TO MAKE NEW SKINS
    (I've only replaced them, so I'm not sure...)
    1.If you don't have Paint.NET, download it (it's free!).
    2.Get the "reference skin" off minecraft.net and open it with paint.NET.
    3.Edit it to whatever you want.
    4.With winRAR or 7-zip, find the MCA characters. (%appdata%-Roaming-.minecraft-bin-minecraft-MCA)
    5.Add the new skin to the file, and make sure it is named like this: (Eg. FarmerM1.png)
    6.Test! (Once again, I'm not sure this'll work, haven't tried it before)

    I've been using this mod for a couple weeks now and have been thoroughly enjoying it, the only problem is that my children have a nasty habit of being twins. Not to mention when I have villagers raise children, I'm getting duplicate names in the town now which is mildly irritating.
    Is there a way I can add more skins/names to my own copy of the mod? Not for redistribution of course, but just to help randomize things like these.
