    Hey there all. Sorry I haven't been about too much-work, and I'm still trying to move out of the house I'm living in. Looking for a new place to live, alongside getting a new desktop for Minecraft, and fervertly trying to find time to not go insane.

    Hey, excellent review there, Largon. While I do personally like the idea of large maps, and how to handle them, I appreciate the nature of the pros and, since I'm also playing this one myself, I figure that it will do quite well for itself and pave the way for 1.9/1.10 maps.

    posted a message on Strawberry Jam V3 - A CTM Map Building Jam! Jam #17 over - check out the maps!

    Hey all. As is usual for a Jam, we have the streamers coming out to play! Please, send me a PM and I'll be sure to give your map a shot. Planning to do a bit of streaming today as well, so feel free to join!


    Edit: ctRy: I think I'll be starting with yours, if you don't mind. That looks rather amazing!


    Edit 2: Though you might want to work on that whole Brutality thing. Players can't do much with speed zombies all around them.


    Edit 3: That one needs to be worked on. Speed-modded Zombies and Spiders at the start means the player needs armor and a way to deal with it. If I can't effectively make it to the first dungeon, much less set up a base after 20 deaths, something is kinda troubling. I made it to the monument, and started to climb. Loot was non-existent save for the potions chest, which was nice, but everything kinda floudered when I couldn't move without a skeleton in my way, or a zombie I couldn't outrun without proper food. 1.10/1.9 changes things, and the first big one is that skeletons are nightmares without armor, a shield, or a good amount of food. Speed-modded zombies have been a problem for a lot of maps, and the horses were a nice touch, but a spawner for them would make sense, as would some armor to give you a chance to defend yourself. I see what you were trying to do, but since dying out the gate appears to be the idea, you're gonna have to give the player a chance to explore more and die in the rest of the map, not just the start. NEXT!

    Hey all....Oh, wow, Sketch. That looks really sweet. Is that a part of the Pillars of Creation series? I was just watching Rock finish up The Painter recently, and we talked about the different endings..and I thought about that cool idea again about a CTM-PVP situation to complete either Canvas for your chosen faction before the other does, but that's because I'm insane and liked the way that map handled how the player did things.

    Either way, my plan to day was to let people know that I'm not dead. I've been busy with job searching, dealing with moving around in my house-and moving house, since my grandmother plans on selling the place-other activities, and the occasional Darkest Dungeon, Enter the Gungeon, and SHO with the guildmates. I do plan on returning to play (read: suffer, burn and die) through CM5, and through other adventures, but I apologize for not doing it recently.

    It's not like I'm going anywhere, I'm just preparing to make some changes, and with my recent birthday of 30, planning on seeing where things go and shape. My plan is to still adventure, explore, and survive in deadly, furious places as soon as I can. I was thinking either today, but I'm rather tired...or a much more able Aura on Tuesday. Let me know which you'd prefer.

    So I am now on SHO. It is not what I was hoping for, but that could change. There is just such a hold on things. It is not very Minecrafty.     Something I also noticed is that it really is a multiplayer thing. Grinding can be done alone but a dungeon? You need people for that. I went in alone and I didn't make even really into the first chamber, there were just so many mobs and I also feel that zombies call more zombies more often in SHO??


    First I didn't see the usage of a house. I thought my Enderchest would be enough. It wasn't so now I have an apartment in the green section? Number 322. The lock system is nice. All I don't fully see why Vechs needs his own commandblock. He could easily jump into gamemode 3 to enter these houses.


    Ah, this is perfect, an excellent segway into what I wanted to talk about.

    Hi, it's me, Aurabolt, again. I'm gonna post here along with this, because this is a good time to do so in my mind. Myself, and a number of the CTM mapmakers and LPers of this community, have started a guild on SHO.

    This was mainly to not only get people interested and coordinated on Super Hostile Online, and to play it together, but to get some exposure from those who do not know the CTM Community, and would like to be a part-learn more, play more, get more people involved.

    If you are interested in joining what I've called the CTMC, please feel free to get in touch with a PM. I could involve those with the discord, talk to other about joining, see what the other members think. I'm looking forward to having more members, and to also get more people involved in our little genre than ever before.

    oooh, intentional lag? Not the biggest fan, since I'm tryingto run the game, and I don't want to see my computer cry. Speed-heavy mobs tend tofixthat-give them a few more ahead of the player-but the player should also be able to have an environment or means to control and defeat the mobs so that it's difficult, but not impossible.



    Also, hey Goldentwister. Nice to see you back-though I'm not sure how I'm going to be capturing any monuments. ^__^
