Nov 1, 2014Augustus posted a message on [1.6.4][Forge] Novamenu - Clean and modern GUI overhaul! [1.1.4]Update: My report only applies to Linux (64) (and maybe not all?); no such trouble in Windows 7 (64) with that same modpack.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

I found the same crash bug as this guy from the bottom of page 4. The trim version of my crash log includes the full list of Forge mods:
Pastebin "Net Login Conflict?" -> http://pastebin.com/S8wJzLaD <-
I fully respect if you aren't looking into these because of the inclusion of Novamenu in a public modpack (IDK if the average Technic pack gets permission or not) ... supporting every conflict anyone wants to create, is called working yourself to death. (The pack in question, in which net-login crashes to desktop for me, is Aether Worlds.) Great work revitalizing the title screen with this mod
Aug 3, 2014Why are these people allowed to use the word Minecraft in all their promotional materials?Posted in: General Gaming
Edit: FFS they even say they have their own release of Minecraft: https://www.youtube.com/user/benchminecraft/about

He meant that there's no hole in the door to look through, as in for example the deafault textures.
Correct - I didn't say there were no windows or doors, I said no windows on doors
Jul 15, 2014Augustus posted a message on Sibogy's ZAROXITE Craft [32x] [1.7.4+] [CUSTOM SOUNDS]I like it! Not only that, I think the 32x version of this actually runs faster than the 16x pack I was using before.Posted in: Resource Packs
My only complaints so far are these:
- No windows on doors -- I'll have to mod that myself, can't live without 'em
- Inventory windows need more contrast. I usually find myself washing-out the inventory colors on the modpacks I like, because as good as brown-on-brown looks in terms of color balance... too bad it's not possible to put drop shadows on items.
May 6, 2014Augustus posted a message on Zelda Sword Skills: 1.8.9 v3.4 and 1.7.10 v2.5.1 (03/08/2017)A vote for the name "Zelda Sword Skills+" is a vote which helps people find the mod on accident because they were simply looking for new sword skills!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Now, that said, these other names would make cool desktop background inspirations
I'm about to RTFM and start playing this for the first time... can't wait!

Where did you hear about the server: This thread
Do you understand and accept the rules: I do.
What's our policy on raging: Wouldn't be prudent at this juncture. ("Don't rage.")

A lead will stretch a maximum of ten meters before breaking. Where do you keep your horse? If it has more than 10 blocks of space to move then this might be the problem.
So... a lead doesn't prevent it from walking away? If that's true, then attaching a lead to a fencepost is totally useless. I'm banking on this being a bug.
Nov 30, 2013So far, every time I've logged in at home, my donkey has been off his lead. Every time, he was on it when I logged out. Only once out of the 3 times, was there a lead laying on the ground as an item drop.Posted in: Discussion
This is on vanilla multiplayer. The server has only 3 players and I'm confident nobody's playing tricks.
In the occasions where I've logged in somewhere far enough away that the donkey wasn't immediately visible, it'd be on its lead when I got home. It's only when I log in with the donkey immediately being simulated, that the lead is broken or vanishes.
I hate jumping through bug reporting hoops, so I'm just going to post it here.

So are people just using Nope in place of the website name? I don’t understand.
The MCF community is a bit weird. In some way.
It's a forum moderator preventing this discussion from turning into advertisements for the fake site. You're right though, out of context "Nope" everywhere could be confusing... if you don't read the OP, that is

That's what I wrote within Contents. It's the quickest summary I could think of. If you want to get more in-depth, you will have to read all the item descriptions, or watch a video
thank you for your response. It seems like the above should be the first thing in the post, and definitely not hidden in a spoiler box.
Aug 9, 2012Augustus posted a message on [1.2.5] GravityCraft + MineUp 1.1 || Higher Worlds - Planets - Rotated Gravity - More World GenerationWhere is the text description of what it does? I scrolled through the original post three times looking for it, but all I see are movies and meta-information. I cannot be interested in a plug-in if I do not have any idea what is for.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
