This happens because FML apparently supports HD textures (and nothing else), but my Finder compass does not detect FML textures (because theyre so new).
Fix:
- install Optifine C3 or later
EDIT #3 Fix #2:
Updated ModLoader version to hack into FML texture. Grab from my site as usual. Updating mcpatcher version now
EDIT #4 Fix #3:
Updated mcpatcher version to hack into FML texture. Grab from my site as usual. Should mention its untested.
Are you using the correct ID? You know, the ID your mod states plus the Item offset (currently 128 i think)? Check by using NEI or similar and hovering over your item, you will see the correct item id
You need to find your .technic folder which is mimicking a .minecraft folder structure
The config goes into the usual place relative to your minecraft.jar (the super folder of /bin/)
The mod zip goes into the mods folder, which does exist aswell
Then you are not adding it to the config correctly. As you may or may not notice, there is no light items hardcoded into the mod, everything is done via config.
There is MAJOR problems with your new forum software. Editing my posts regularly deletes all youtube links within them (i have lost a ton of links already), much formatting was lost, my subscriptions are not emailed to me, or do not show up at all.

One of these classes is World and not needed for DL to work, the other is overwritten by Optifine (which in turn supports DL)

So some things that always worked one (technically wrong) way now work another

I can't help you without further details. Nobody but a very skilled prophet could. "It doesn't work" is not and has never been a bug report.

Use the ModLoader version. Installing the mcpatcher version is possible but difficult.

- latest Ropes version?
- latest Forge correctly installed?
- other mods removed/disabled?

Uuuuh
Try removing it, loading the world, then adding it again
