If you have a 64 bit operating system (such as Windows7 64 bit or Windows Vista 64 bit) then 64bit java will allow you more RAM usage.

32bit operating systems only allow up to 3.3GB of RAM.

RAM is very important in minecraft performance.

So if you have a 64 bit operating system then YES 64 bit minecraft will perform better

If you have a 32bit OS then NO it wont.

lol compared to other mods simo has a lot more (depending on the mod) lines of code to update and im surprised he managed to get a dev version out on such short notice

btw he dosent have (or at least i dont think he has) early access to 1.2 so he works on it when it comes out

As far as "maturity" goes, I don't give a flying ****. All I want is for people to spell like you're not a dumbass. If you're still using AOL-speak, I can't talk to you. (ironically, several of you were born long after AOL died) and to be able to take a goddamn joke and recognize when someone is being sarcastic or just kidding around. this one is huge for me. I'll be joking around with a guy on a server and next thing I know I'm getting "yur so meen :sad.gif:(". All I want is for a person to not be a ****ing idiot, and quite a few minecrafters I know can do that, and they're usually the ones who tend to stick around.
