    BTW, GLSL Shaders is now OptiFine-independent. It's compatible with OptiFine, but it doesn't require it. It also doesn't require Forge or FML (for now). Does this mean you might continue supporting GLSL Shaders again? :D

    Good to see you're okay, Misa. Just take your time.

    In regards to this texture pack, I can wait for an official update... 'cause that's what I've been doing so far (since 1.4). Still hoping Mojang finally releases updates for things, like more underwater content. Even still, I can't play MC with mods and your texture pack, so for now I'll just continue waiting. :)

    I'm guessing you haven't experienced moving yet. Even though we had more than enough to pay for a connection at where we were moving to, it took us more than a week to finally get one. Yeah, to be honest, it was hell for me. Like VashTS240 said, moving saps a lot of your free time.

    Also, even before saotomato commented that she is below the "poverty line", Misa's old comment saying she may end up homeless should've given you guys a clue that she can't afford things like a smartphone.

    Not all areas have free Internet terminals, either. In fact, I almost forgot there is such a thing. I live in a city, and I'm not aware of any free Internet terminal here nor in the neighboring cities. There are free WiFi hotspots, but only people with mobile devices can enjoy them.

    Yeah, I figured. As I've said, it's not uncommon for modders to be inactive for months to years, especially if they're dealing with a huge issue. The surest way we can say it is discontinued is when the modder actually posts it is and/or they officially give the responsibility of updating it to someone else. Right now, I'm more worried about Misa's situation than this pack.

    There's also another Minecraft modder I know who also moved -- MALfunction84, the Somnia mod creator. He wasn't broke, but he still couldn't get a Net connection due to issues with AT&T. You guys should check his mod's thread. It might give you an idea what it's like. ;)

    Seriously, guys, just because she hasn't posted a single thing in this thread doesn't mean she has abandoned her TP. It is not uncommon for modders to be inactive for months or even years due to real-life issues (like moving). Unless their mods are their full-time job, modding is done mostly if not only in their free time. What if Misa doesn't have Internet access in the home she moved in? What if she bumped into other problems that're keeping her from going online and giving us an update on her situation? Please take note of the reason why Misa is moving in the first place.

    If you're talking about pscof42, he never said anything about Misa discontinuing her work. He just wanted to try "filling some holes".

    So far, I'm liking pscof42's textures. It blends well with this pack's style. At the same time, he still gives credit where credit is due -- apart from admitting that most of the "patched" pack is still Misa's work, he requires us to DL the orig. pack from this thread before using his patch, instead of uploading the entire thing in one link. At least I now have a reason to play Minecraft again. :)

    I heard karyonix's latest version of the GLSL Shaders no longer requires Optifine. I hope this means I can now finally use the Shaders without Optifine, and also you'd be resuming support for it. If not, I don't mind. Even with my new notebook, I'm not sure if I could use any of the mapping features and have a decent frame rate at the same time.

    Also, it was good to hear the good news. I wish you good luck, Misa. :)

    Or kingbdogz's Main Menu API. Not only it is Forge-based, but also it's made so that mods that change the main menu are compatible with each other. As of the moment, it is not yet updated to 1.6.2. Once it is, I hope you could rebuild this mod with it. :)

    For now, this works. None of the mods I use replaces the BLQ class.

    Went here to see the new horse textures. Have yet to see any (if there is any posted), but I did find that you're struggling financially or something about possibly becoming homeless. Is it true? :(

    This is a rather old issue. I once encountered this with my cousin's HP Pavilion DV4 notebook 2 years back. It gave me headaches trying to fix it, since my cousin can't play Minecraft with the lag. It turns out that HP notebooks with "dynamic" switchable graphics had a problem with OpenGL-based games like Minecraft. These games could only utilize the integrated graphics and not the dedicated one, resulting to choppy performance. While they've released a patch for this for DV6 notebooks, they've yet to release one for my cousin's DV4, which he's no longer using.

    Just thought of bringing this up in case some of you here with an HP DV6 notebook has a similar or the same problem.

    The latest snapshot features the hardened clay block being colorable. I can't wait for what Misa would want her textures for the block to look like. Judging from the last screenshot, though, I think she'll need to come up of another texture besides the one in the screenie (or not. I'm not sure).

    Still hoping they're serious when they promised to add new mobs (with the "s") in the upcoming 1.6 update. So far, there's only "a" new mob. The horse as a rideable animal is starting to grow on me, and I finally realized they didn't intend the pig to be one of the main methods of transport in Minecraft, but I really want mobs like finally a 3D fish mob? Pretty please, Jeb and team?

    How about providing an alternative or optional way to have the rendered models for the inventory? I think it would be easier that way for us who use HD texture packs. The 16-px. textures don't really fit with the other textures.

    I am, however, currently looking into making item GUI textures for Misa's texture pack (Misa doesn't (want to) provide mod support for her TP). I'll let you guys know if I finally made those textures.
