You seem not to understand the double door bug. If a door is rotated by 90° that means it's actually in "open" stance when it's closed for players. Mobs still attempt to go out there. Same with beds, mobs consicer "closed" double doors a valid path. And yes, they have to fix that.
Agreed, bookshelves only work if they have line-of-sight to the enchantmenter (according to the wiki). The corners don't have it. This would also suggest that torches, ladders, etc will block it from working. (as said before)

You can also use a egg farm if you are still on 1.8. Just throw some eggs into a pit with water hold up by signs and if you have enough there you should get a constant supply of eggs.
It's a problem with the current world-gen for the endermen realm, it's currently generating in the regular world, sometimes overwriting existing chunks.

It's not his computer fault, it's a general problem and everyone can have it. And it's not sky dimension since the recent sky dimension generator has no swamps/forest biomes.

Due to the apply of earth-like gravity it's limited below (but not at bedrock).
