    I am working on a mod called the Yokai mod but I need some help to actually get it going. The mod is takes folklore and culture from japan and puts it in minecraft. I have a website for anyone who wants to learn further what the mod is going to entail:

    Here's what I need to get this mod on the road:

    3 modders - for now I just need 3 who know what their doing and know a little more than the basics, I also would like to have at least 1 that can animate models
    1 to 2 modlers - people who are skilled with techne and can make some good quality models Filled
    1 texturer - someone who's pretty good a making textures, specially in 36 and 64 bit resolution Filled

    (***special position****)
    If someone knows japanese fluently and knows some of the culture, that would be great. I don't know any japanese, so I have been using google translate, but you know.... google translate.... Anyway I need someone like a translator to double check my japanese so I'm not saying "butt face" when I mean "shadow" or something. Thanks. :)

    posted a message on "Locked Worlds" Idea
    I been having this idea for a while though I don't really know how it can be implemented. I was thinking it would be useful, specially with the new launcher, to be able to lock your world as mean of safe guarding it. When I mean "lock" I mean you cant delete it on accident unless you unlock it first. You can also lock it to a version of minecraft like 1.6.2 or 1.7.1, so that you don't end up messing up your world with missing blocks or something and you can "lock" mods to it, so that you can't go into the world without having the right mods on.

    I tend to have a lot of worlds, some that I haven't played on for months but still really treasure. I have accidentally deleted some of my favorite worlds or have gone into a world and totally messed it up because I was on the wrong version or didn't have the right mods. I would really love a locking system so that I can organize my worlds and prevent myself from doing stupid things. Honestly I have no idea how this can be done, I have almost no coding experience and this isn't so much as a mod as a nice feature. But if there is anyone out there who think they can do this, I would much appreciate it and be willing to help where I can. :)

    I'm trying to make a mod that has a lot of monsters. I know techne is really useful to make models but I have a mac and can't use it. I was wondering if I could use blender instead or if there some other programs that are compatible with mac.

    Hey, for the past few months I have been trying to get a mod idea I came up with made. It's called the Youkai Mod and it adds mods, food, weapons and legends from japanese culture. It is basically a Japanese overhaul. I have already a huge portion of the textures for this mod as well as some of the mobs but I need a coder to pull everything together and preferably a good one since there are a lot of complicated aspects to my idea.

    Also for my family mod, you're right, minecraft come alive does do a lot of what I want but there is one specific thing that I want to focus in my mod that minecraft comes alive doesn't really have. I want it to focus more on the baby aspect of family. I thought it would be really cool having a baby model that the player can take care of and nurture. The baby can be carried in the players inventory like an item and maybe even shows up on the players back. I also wanted to create several items like a cradle and baby food that players can make to take care of the baby. I thought it would be cute mod to make that would bring more life into minecraft. I should probably change the name to the Baby mod instead of family mod, for the sake of confusion. Anyway that is more specifically what I want from the mod, but if people think it's too close to minecraft comes alive, thats fine, my real passion is with my youkai mod.

    Mod Ideas: My youkai mod, which everyone can check out on my website, a family mod that incorporates a male and women mobs that you can flirt, marry and eventually have a baby with. And finally a feeding mod (this can incorparated into the family mod) where you can feed other mobs food. (Useful if you are using one of the many food mods)
    Interest: I like manga, Japan, cosplay, video games and reading. In terms of mods, I like most themes as long as they aren't too technical. I would like to make mods that are more culture related, like millenaire mod except maybe more specific, but overall I'm cool with anything.

    hmm... you said you want to make mods with a group of people right? Well I have a whole bunch of mod ideas that I really want to be made. I am good at textures (I have been making whole bunch for my mod) and I have been fiddling around with techne, so I CAN make some basic models. If you can get a coder and a builder, I'm willing to join.

    Awsome!! I love the compass and clock! But I do have to comment on the nether wart. I know you must be tired after working so hard on the clock and compass but I feel that have a seed for nether wart dosnt make much sense. The wart are eyes, and limbs sticking out of the ground, so rather than making nether wart a seed pack I think it would be cool to have the warts be bits of meat, limbs or maybe a bloody bag of "medical waste" since the nether has a hospital theme going on. I'm sorry that I'm commenting this right after you worked so hard on the textures, but I just thought this would be more fun. :)

    Reasons why: while I'm not good on redstone, I am an excellent builder. I am currently making several maps (far from finished, because of my redstone incompetance) and have made many other side builds as well, such as cathedrals, castles, and medieval villages. I haven't watched the whole anime, but I have read the manga SAO, so I do have a good image of what the places look like. I'm still learning how to use world edit, but I know how to use some of the commands. In terms of building simple things, such as small towns and such, I am super fast and can be very dedicated, working as long as I have free time. I also have a good program that makes terraforming in just a few minutes. (sorry It's so short, other then that I don't have mush to say about myself) :)

    posted a message on In-Game NBTEdit! Edit Mob Spawners & Attributes in game! FINALLY UPDATED!
    I'm having an issue where I can't edit items even if I put it in the chest. I open to nbtedit do all my editing, I even press save, but when I go open the chest to test out the effects there is no change. This is really frustrating me because I want to try out the new potions. Can someone please help me?
    ps if you need all my computer info I can provide that just tell me what you need.

    I having difficulty getting my textures to appear in minecraft. I have tried every way possible, making a texture pack, replacing the templates in the mod, but no matter what I do my textures for Xtra blocks don't appear in minecraft. I use gimp and when I open the file it shows that the template is edited but when in game its like I didn't change anything. Please help! T-T
