update: fixed it. apparently windows 8.1 doesn't play nice with how minecraft handles the mouse input. running in windows 8 compatibility mode fixes it.
I recently built a new pc and wanted to test it out. I downloaded a bunch of steam games like TF2 and Garry's Mod and they work perfectly with high fps. I tried Minecraft and could not play at all. The fps was 30-60 but would drop to 10 once in a while (probably loading chunks), but it was as if it was laggy. The mouse would jerk around and I couldn't move a one block space without it freezing for a second.
These are my specs.
CPU: AMD FX 6300 six core 3.5GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650 Ti
Windows 8.1
I've updated my drivers and I'm running the latest version of Java. I've tried Optifine and turning the settings down. I've even allocated 4GB or RAM. Please help;
Can anyone get the models for the rest of the mobs that are not yet included into this? I would really very much so appreciate it. I am having a nightmareish time trying to texture the enderdragon as trying to peer at it in game to see if textures are looking alright has proven to be nearly impossible.
Horse would also be nice to have as well as the other mobs not yet added.
I've actually been trying to model them in Techne, but I'm having a bad time.
I'm having a problem with MCS3D
When I save my skin and go to the directory for them, there are no skins there. So I can't grab the file for them; but they're there in MCS3D so I'm not sure where it's keeping the skin at.
I right click the skin and go to "Browse skin location" and instead of taking me to the folder, it takes me to basically the home for my windows login.
If you've got the .zip version, all of the files should be in the same place as MCSkin3D.
You don't understand . I don't need a template, I can make websites from raw html/css, and I'm here to offer my services for anyone who needs a website for their server or something.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but it seemed the best option.
I've recently gotten quite into website developing, but I've just been mucking around with techniques and stuff, but haven't really made anything worth-while enough to show. I'm here for that reason, to get some sites under my belt and give you guys something while doing it.
Now, I can probably make only a single web page, possibly 2 or 3, if you really want them. I'm going to need you to be extremely descriptive; tell me what the website is for, it's title, any colours or pictures you want, the best thing for me would be for you to sketch out the layout and label it. Here's an example.
And when the website is done, I will send you all of the necessary files for you to inspect and tell me if anything needs to be changed, and if you like it, it's yours to keep.
Please keep in mind, I am not a professional, so these won't look amazing and I will take quite a bit of time doing them, so don't bug me with 'ETA?s'.
Here's a new one.
Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian/Macedonian, since they're all pretty much the same, with minor vocabulary and pronunciation differences.
It is my mother tongue, but I do not speak it as well as I'd like to, living in an English-speaking country and all.
I just downloaded the LE version, and it was working great for 5 minuets, even the upload skin function was working! But now, everytime I click on something, I get an error report.
P.S: sorry, but I don't know how to do a spoiler thing. :/

What did you have in mind? Anything particular that you want?

Try a fresh version of MCSkin3D.
I'm not sure if Paril is still developing this, but I could get a horse model for you to put in that would work just fine.

Yes, they are quite tricky if you don't already know the language and begin learning what the conjugations actually are, later on.
