"I'm not one for strategy- No wait, I mean, I'm not good at- What? I mean, I'm not good at strategy, so if I may, I'd like to be the one to grab Emme. I also need to talk to her about something anyway." Stated the witch as she inched her way to the door.

Astra wasn't exactly the best when it came to discussing plans, she always entered a fight and threw out whatever she could throw out, even if it meant killing her movement after because of the massive drain of Focus or magic. Astra was even about to ask about the branded that just left, but she supposed keeping her mouth shut in a moment like that was probably the best idea. Astra shrugged and snapped her fingers, with the snap of her fingers poof! Her witch hat popped out of nowhere, right on her head.

"I'll be back before you know it! Unless Emme makes it difficult, I'll have her back in about fifteen minutes, or maybe even less." Astra said.

She pointed at her hat and put her hand behind her back, reaching for the doorknob as she did.

"Emme Von Kuroe..." Said the knight in her golden plate.

Astra liked this person a lot, she didn't exactly know why but she was someone she'd be more than willing to fight with in the heat of battle, plus it's bonus protection. Astra was about to speak, seconds away from saying what was on her mind but then.

"Apologies, but I have to run, I have to pick up my shield from the blacksmith." Said the knight once more.

Astra managed to open her mouth, but only as the woman left. Unlucky to say the least but hopefully she could have a couple of bevs with the lady knight soon, or even tonight if she gets lucky. As Astra opened her mouth, she spoke.

"Hi~!" Her voice cracked, she cleared her throat and spoke again. "I mean, I am Astra Du'Vaire, a moonlit witch to urr... Support? I suppose." As she kept talking she felt like she was making her introduction much much worst. Whatever, she already said it, all she could is add.

"I look forward to working with all of you!" She exclaimed, she then pointed to the door and added. "... And her too." Gesturing at the knight who just left the room.

Oh, also another question, what are the ways to learn new abilities?

If there are none I have a suggestion for my character or at least how she learns abilities.

Astra studies a tome for the night and she has x% of chance to learn the ability within the night. If she fails to learn the ability she can study the same tome again the next night with a higher chance to learn the ability.

Yet again, it's only a suggestion.

As Astra was lead inside the barracks, she already decided to look around as she was being lead to the captain. Bradley was the man's name, he seemed nice, or atleast much nicer than one of the guards at the gate of the barracks.

As the group was lead to the captain's quarters, she couldn't help but notice the man she saw by the potions stand. He seemed nice-ish she guessed. Though maybe she shouldn't jump to conclusions, she hadn't even met him.

They entered the captain's office, and the group watched him pull out a piece of paper and started to read from it, in least enthusiastic way possible. It didn't really make her want to do it now, she even wanted to leave half way through, but then...

"Can you keep a secret?" Clarence said which immediately made Astra make the biggest smile on her face.

"Frick (imagine she actually said the real f-word) Yes!" She exclaimed loudly.

After she had just thoroughly embarrassed herself, she cleared her throat and spoke. "I mean, yes of course."

This certain witch loves secrets, she heard the man next to her reply to the question as well. After Clarence had mentioned three of the four branded, Astra was all ears. After the captain talked about it for awhile, Astra had only but one question to ask. Astra raised her hand to attract a little attention to herself for her to ask the question.

"Are we free to engage the branded if we find them? Through past experiences, I've heard that new branded are dangerous, are we free to apprehend them as we wish to?" Asked Astra.

After she had asked the question, she heard the doorknob behind her turn, she thought it would be the goblin they were talking about earlier. Astra turned her head to see who it was, she was looking at the bottom of the door and was greeted by the shins of a suit of armor, she looked up to see this man covered in gold tinted armour, and long flowing cape. The knight spoke and to her surprise it was a woman, for a woman this person was tall. She kept her helmet on, isn't that some form of disrespect in knight culture or something? Not like she would know, but still.

Yep. I'm waiting on Caruso for a reply, but he hasn't been online for a week. If he doesn't post something by the end of tomorrow or delegate control, I'll move forward without him. (In that case, his character would still be active, but would be stuck in the town; he'd have to either wait for the group to return, form a new group somehow, or go in alone in search of the current group.)

This will reduce the damage and require some amount of space above the targeted area, but will remove the damage falloff based on distance. If you are okay with this, I'll change it.

For future reference, I'll allow adjustments to characters until they either leave the town or use a given ability/weapon/etc. (E.g. Ultracraft could modify any of his abilities or attributes of his character except for his lightning spell because he used it in the bar fight).

    Nevermind I'm good.

    Patch notes 1.1 (Just Kidding)

I do see how everyone will fight, already imagining it as I read through it, I do like the added bonus of critical attacks and all that. I suppose since you've established the damage values, the way to move now is forward yes?

Edit: Also, is it possible to change Vaars Mora from an arcane blast coming from the caster to calls forth the power of the stars, having the stars fire down at a targetted area?

    That'll do.

Edit: Are the minor/major potions you just bought the ones you intended to start out with, or are they additions to your inventory?

They're the ones I start with, should have probably mention that, my bad sorry.

Astra Du'Vaire was in the middle of a meal per say, a half-eaten sandwich in her mouth as she practically felt the ground shake as everyone rushed to find out what in the name of the Gods all the commotion was. She followed the loud voice and to where everyone was running off to, needless to say, it caught her attention. In her mind she kept saying that It's just another announcement about new comers, whatever it may be it doesn't matter.

Or at least, that's what she thought...

The man continued, "-barracks are running low on weapons and wands, so if any brave souls are willing to venture into the Conglomerate to accompany soldiers in an expedition to retrieve more, the Mayor will pay you handsomely... please speak to the Captain of the Guard, Clarence, tomorrow if you wish to know more."

Astra practically flinched at those words, seeing such an opportunity to pay off her debts, it seemed great. Witches don't tend to get easy jobs, but it is no matter, this is wonderful news for the Du'Vaire, her mind was made up, and she dispersed with the crowd. Afterwards, she left and made her way to the nearest potions stand or shop to restock, there was another man there, a man with average height (only slightly taller than her though) and what seemed like a pony tail that resembled some sort of lizard's tail or whatever. He was muscular, quire the burly man, but she didn't care much for him since she had no business with him or anything to do with him, if he was a magic user that she knew in person, then perhaps a quick talk would be in order, but that wasn't the case. Though his robes were something to remember, since robes like those would usually be seen on a mage or a sorcerer though what type of sorcerer would wield a bow?

"-Excuse me? Miss? Are you going to buy something? Miss? Ma'am? Hello?" Said the woman trying to grab the attention of the witch.

Astra practically flinched as she was trying to find out if that man had any relevance to her, though after a few seconds of being called out by the potions stand lady, she walked towards the stand and looked at the variety of potions she was selling. After examining everything that was there, she finally made up her mind and spoke.

"I'll take four minor potions of focus and one major potion of focus... Yes, that." Said Astra as she reached down her satchel to pay for the potions.

"That will be, 20 for each minor and 50 for the major, the major would cost less if it wasn't so scarce since I hadn't had time to brew any." The woman said as she laid out all the potions being purchased by the witch.

"That's fine, do you accept gold?" Astra asked, she knew she was low on silver, so gold was the next best thing right?

"You're paying in gold?" Asked the woman, tilting her head slightly as she did.

"I only have one piece..." Stated Astra, as she ruffled her hand inside her satchel.

"Ah I see, then I'll give you a deal, 1 gold and 20 pieces of silver for... Everything, what say you?" The woman asked.

I suppose I know why I can't pay my debt off.

Astra let out a sigh before she spoke. "... Alright."

Astra counted her payment and laid them down next to the potions, the woman nodded and took the witch's currency. It was only then Astra admired the lady, on so much effort she was doing, it was astounding, and with a very admirable look. She gave her a bow of thanks as she did.

    (-1 gold 20 silver)

Astra then head out to the captain of the guard, and she even spotted the man she saw earlier. Is this man going there too? Or... No, what are the chances this man is going to the captain of the guard's to assist as well as I am? When she arrived at the barracks, a moderate crowd had already formed. As the doors opened, she did exactly what the man with the ponytail did, she merged herself with the crowd to avoid standing out.

I have made one additional change: the grimoire is less useful now. You can start playing and choose to alter your starting items if you wish.

    - Unknown Grimoire (30 uses): Grants a random minor spell (Non-damage dealing/Non-Healing) if successfully read. This grimoire is well-guarded with trapped passages and other malevolent hexes designed to keep its contents secret. Attempting to read this while unfocused is likely to trigger a trapped passage, consuming a use and harming the reader in some way. The act of reading this itself is draining for the mind, and learning spells from this will put a small drain on the mind permanently; this isn't enough to be noticeable when casting spells or in day to day life but will make learning additional spells from the grimoire very difficult.

I can have it so upon use, it grants 10% dmg bonus, an infinite use but it has a 5 turn cooldown, and cannot be cast outside of combat. What say you about that?

    A few things:

    - Arae Aryha will consume less FP on initial casting but will draw FP over time to maintain the form. It can only mimic living creatures and the gradual FP loss will be based on the complexity of the creature. Casting success is based on INT.

    - Vaars Mora La Fiascette will take two turns in combat to cast, taking a full turn to concentrate and being cast with a halved speed penalty on the second turn. If hit on the second turn, you will suffer critical damage.

    - Tu Yuarla costs 15% of your maximum health rounded down rather than a static 8 (with your current health it now costs 11 HP). Failing to cast Tu Yuarla Osu Lufraine in time will result in Astra falling ill. This illness will cut maximum FP and all your stats by 25% rounded up per day late, resulting in death on the fourth day you have not cast Tu Yuarla. The illness can be cured by casting Tu Yuarla; however, all stats will permanently be decreased by 1 point per day late. If any stat hits 0, your character will suffer some sort of crippling ailment related to the stat that hits 0, and if any stat hits -2 your character will die (STR, END, INT) or otherwise become unplayable (DEX, SPD, WIL). If you are affected by some antimagical force and cannot cast magic, you will not feel the effects of Tu Yuarla illness until 30 seconds after you regain magical abilities, at which point the effects of the illness will catch up in four seconds. If you cast Tu Yuarla before those 30 seconds are up, you will not suffer stat penalties if you have gone over a day without casting Tu Yuarla. The deadline for casting Tu Yuarla each day is midnight.

    - Potions in your inventory will be adjusted to the potions in Ultracraft's inventory and the rest of the world (20hp for minor healing, 15fp for minor focus, 50fp for major focus).

    - I will assign damage for each offensive ability.

If you agree with these changes, you are accepted, otherwise you may change them in a way you think will be acceptable. I will update the IC thread tonight; if your character was in or around the town's center last night, they will have heard the Crier's announcement.

I agree to these terms, balancing was always something I struggled with, thank you. I'll have my original post edited.

Username: AstralMaria (Please call me Kat)

    Character Name: Astra Du'Vaire
    Race: Human

Appearance: Astra is an adult woman with long electric crimson hair that reaches right below her waist, her hair was parted to the middle so as not to fall over her eyes, but part of it fell between her eyes. She also had bangs framing the sides of her face and curving in. Her current age stands at 27, she is a young woman of tall stature, white skin complexion and Rosewood red eyes.

Astra's outfit isn't too much detail, she keeps it light to keep herself nimble and to allow herself to cast magic while on the move. She wears a suit that's roughly skin-tight with a Byzantium coloured top and Fandango coloured leggings. Her outfit is usually acquainted with a black cape strapped around her shoulders, with a silver pin with her four pointed star brand, a black belt with a light gold ring shaped buckle and black shin high boots to finish it off.

Though her brand is located on the back of her shoulder.

Backstory: Astra was born with the name of a witch so this meant that she was some sort of heir to mother who she really wasn't fond of to begin with, even with how much she avoided magic she was sucked in to it like a vacuum. She never appreciated anything of the magical sort up until her mother's death bed which apparently made her mother's witchcraft transfer to her. She didn't know why or how, but she suddenly yearned to learn magic. As she rushed to her mother's old tomes, grimoire and spellbooks, she was practically blessed by the stars to be a magic user.

Though she had this... Strive to keep learning and learning all the things that she could, until she couldn't anymore, as odd as it may seem, Astra was given this fate that she could not escape out of, as if her mother's death ignited something inside her that made her do these things. Multiple attempts of learning spells, and multiple attempts have failed. These failed attempts resulted in self-inflicted pain that devolved her into someone she didn't want to be. As of that moment, when a mispronunciation of a word in a three or two word spell it could drastically change the spell at hand. Though that didn't stop her, blood, sweat, tears but mostly blood let her learn everything she needed to know.

Even with all that, something bad had to happen, it was written in her fate. One late night, the stars granted her a wand, a two foot long wand as a catalyst for her magic, the wand is silver with a golden ornament at the end and seven crystals known as the Seven Stars that glow when used. Each one of these crystals corresponds to one of the stars of the Big Dipper constellation. And on her spell, a metamorphosis spell at that, a portal appeared sucking her out of her studies and into a different world. Her memories faded, and only a few spells remained intact. She questioned everything the moment it happened but when she couldn't squeeze out anymore answers, she had to live with it.

She lived in this world for about 12 years, completely forgetting who she was in the old world, and she grew a liking to lizards, well not lizards, geckos to be precise. Astra continues to learn magic as if her life depended on it.

A believing heart is your magic or some S-word like that~

Archetype: A typical magic users, though one of her spells allows for close range combat, reliance on FP or her magic circuits is highly required. No access to magic makes her as useless as the letter G in Lasagna, maybe using her to distract is a good idea when out of magic, but her ability to move without any FP is hindered.

Stats: (You can allocate a total of 53 points on creation, plus 1 per level-up. 8 is human average, 25 is human maximum, 15 is the maximum per stat you may allocate during character creation. If you have a non-human race, include the maximum stat caps for that race in parenthesis if they are
not 25. If you pick 4 positive abilities and 1 negative ability later, allocate 56 points instead).

    HP: 71
    FP: 55

    STR: 5
    DEX: 9
    SPD: 10
    END: 8
    WIL: 11
    INT: 13

    Abilities:

    The Moonlit Witch - Passive

    • Success of spells are increased by 20% when under direct presence of moonlight.

Arae Aryrha! - "Do not compare yourself with others, do what only you can do"

    • Arae Aryha will consume less FP on initial casting but will draw FP over time to maintain the form. It can only mimic living creatures and the gradual FP loss will be based on the complexity of the creature. Casting success is based on INT.

Vaars Mora La Fiascette - "Begone! For I grand death"

    • Vaars Mora La Fiascette is Astra's longest spell and the hardest one to cast, though it's area of effect is massive, it can be easily canceled by being out of focus or being in crowd control. Astra channels and draws in energy from her body to her wand, after channeling for two turns in combat, taking a full turn to concentrate and being cast with a halved speed penalty on the second turn. If hit on the second turn, Astra will take critical damage/

Phaidoari Afairynghor - "That which is dreamed cannot be grasped, but work towards it, day after day, and you will find it in your hands"

    • Phaidoari Afairynghor adds a extension to her wand, usually in the form of a blade or a spear tip in the manifestation of mana, it glows blue when activated and allows for close range combat. 1FP per swing

Tu Yuarla Osu Lufraine - "Sacrifice for the birth of stars"

    • Tu Yuarla costs 15% of her maximum health rounded down rather than a static 8 (with your current health it now costs 11 HP). Failing to cast Tu Yuarla Osu Lufraine in time will result in Astra falling ill. This illness will cut maximum FP and all her stats by 25% rounded up per day late, resulting in death on the fourth day you have not cast Tu Yuarla. The illness can be cured by casting Tu Yuarla; however, all stats will permanently be decreased by 1 point per day late. If any stat hits 0, your character will suffer some sort of crippling ailment related to the stat that hits 0, and if any stat hits -2 Astra will die (STR, END, INT) or otherwise become unplayable (DEX, SPD, WIL). If she is affected by some antimagical force and cannot cast magic, she will not feel the effects of Tu Yuarla illness until 30 seconds after you regain magical abilities, at which point the effects of the illness will catch up in four seconds. If she cast Tu Yuarla before those 30 seconds are up, she will not suffer stat penalties if you have gone over a day without casting Tu Yuarla. The deadline for casting Tu Yuarla each day is midnight.

Primary Weapon: The stars granted her a wand, a two foot long wand as a catalyst for her magic, the wand is silver with a golden ornament at the end and seven crystals known as the Seven Stars that glow when used. Each one of these crystals corresponds to one of the stars of the Big Dipper constellation. This wand is the only oddly visible thing on her person, other than a few potions to keep her alive from the everyday use of Tu Yuarla Osu Lufraine. Also passively grants FP regeneration of 2FP per hour.

    Other Inventory:

    • Witch hat to match clothing (Doesn't wear it all the time): Grants an extra 5 fp when worn
    • Small sachel (Brown): Add minimal inventory space
    • Minor potion of healing x3: Heals for 20 HP each
    • Minor potion of focus x4 : Restores 15 FP each
    • Major potion of Focus x1 : Restores 50 FP each
    • Unknown Grimoire (30 uses): Grants a random minor spell (Non-damage dealing/Non-Healing)
    • 1 gold 83 silver

(Please assist me with the damage and balancing, I don't really know anything about die notation.)

As Lilian and Vaati left the initial meeting point, Lilian couldn't help but think about making pacts. Especially for her partner who has a family. As Vaati lead the way to a nice warm house where he lived in, it was a sizable house to begin with, well with the stories Vaati told her about the place it was expected. Vaati lead her to the front door, gave the door a two knocks and opened the door.

"This is my home! My children should be asleep, tis' why you shouldn't be bothered by them." Vaati stated.

    "Appreciated." Lilian Replied

From door frame there peaked a head, just behind Vaati, a very lovely woman, beautiful in the eyes of the half elf. Long, wavy brown hair, hazelnut brown eyes and a face covered in freckles. The woman was wearing a navy blue nightgown and her height, she wasn't nearly as tall as Lilian but she was much much taller, Lilian had this odd feeling in her chest, whatever it could be, she didn't know. She had never felt this feeling before. What was it?

"Ah Cara! You're still awake I see, this is-" Vaati spoke but was cut off.

"-Lilith, you've told me a lot awhile ago." Cara added.

Cara... That was her name, too bad she was married, and to a friend at that.

"Well then, welcome to LeAimer household, please make yourself at home." Cara stated.

So LeAimer is their surname, nice to know.

    "Y-Yes of course." Lilian replied.

"Come, I'll show you where you may stay the night, I'll wake you when it's time yes?" Vaati asked.

"Right, thank you." Lilian replied once again.

Vaati then gestured for her to follow, leading her down the hall, but through her distraction of constantly looking at her friend's wife. Thud! She slammed right into a bookshelf. Vaati turned to see her crouched on the floor with her hands on her face. Vaati shook his head and knelt down in front of her.

"You've been acting strange, is there any reason to that?" Vaati asked.

"I'm just took in by everything." Lilian replied, with her voice sounding like she wasn't breathing properly since she slammed on the bookshelf.

Vaati chuckled and spoke. "Come on, the room you can stay in is down the hall."

"Alright, I'll follow in a moment." Lilian replied.

After a few seconds, Lilian followed him into the room where she would be staying. It was massive, honestly it was, it was a large room with a queen sized bed. Lilian obviously didn't fit in with the large furniture, but it was a place for her to stay anyway.

"I'll let you settle in, I'll wake you at dusk yes?" Vaati stated.

"Uhh... Yes, I suppose." Lilian replied.

Vaati nodded in response and left Lilian to herself, closing the door behind him. Lilian unsheathed her spear and set it by the side of the bed. She couldn't get herself to touch any of the large furniture. It was an odd feeling, but at least her heart wasn't pounding anymore.

"You just had to stop and get a drink first." Lilian complained.

"Meeting new people is tough when completely sober!" Vaati stated.

"Whatever, they probably started planning already... You can back out right now if you-" Lilian said but was cut off.

"No! It would be rude to abandon you with them alone no?" Vaati insisted.

"What of your family? Your chances of dying are higher than the dragons of the north." Lilian worried.

"I'll be fine, I am as strong as alpha ram!" Vaati exclaimed

"Do rams have an alpha-?" Lilian questioned but was cut off again.

    "Is that them?" Vaati asked.

Vaati pointed at an odd group gathered by the edge of the village, it was the man, some snake-lady, a few others, even an elf and... Him, the creature she fought at the coliseum. Something in her mind told her they were on bad terms, no... Not just in her mind, her whole body quivered as she saw the creature.

Vaati then gave Lilian a slight nudge, she seemed out of it, like she wasn't herself when she saw the ztaari, gosh this could cost her first impressions.

Vaati on the other hand was as loud as he could be, the burly man greeted the group, practically interrupting them at what they were talking about, gosh darn this man is loud.

"Hello friends! My friend here has said that I may tackle along in this adventure of yours. Right Lilith?" Vaati asked.

    "Urr..." Lilian went on.

    "Are you alright?" Vaati asked.

    "B-Basilisks eyes!" Lilian exclaimed.

"Apologies, she doesn't seem herself right now, I wish I knew why." Vaati stated.

Vaati laughed but Lilian was as stiff as a rock, she wasn't like this before, but she felt like the ztaari would jump at her any moment, she really wished she hadn't had this feeling.

    ~「Scarfking」~

Sontar wandered the village a little bit longer. He ran into many people, all of them worried or scared. He knew he couldnt convince someone who felt fear over what happened. They would want to get away as soon as possible. Eventually he came upon a young woman with a stern, borderline angry look on her face. Sontar approached. "Excuse me, do you have a moment to talk?" He said.

    ~「AstralMaria」~

Lilian flinched as she heard the voice of the stranger, who in their right mind would approach her, like look at her, she doesn't even look like she's having any fun at all, or maybe it's the permanent 'angery' look on her face.

"Huh? What? You are?" She replied, almost hissing as a reply.

She didn't know who he was, but he did look like he came from the town, so this should be good.

    ~「Scarfking」~

"My name is unimportant." Sontar replied. "However, i want to ask you. Would you be willing to seek out the power nessecary to destroy the beast that terrorized the city?" He paused a moment. "Me and another are looking for people to journey with us in order to find an Entity, and make a Pact with it. We do this in hopes of defeating the creature that has taken over the city." He paused a moment to let the idea really sink in with her. "It will be dangerous, to be sure, and there's no guaruntee. But we are willing to try anyways."

    ~「AstralMaria」~

Lilian then faked being surprised for a good 12 seconds before she lost all emotion in her face and shrugged.

    "Alright I'm in." Lilian stated.

It really doesn't take much to get her to join the party, the second she heard 'destroy the beast that terrorized the city', she instantly wanted to be a part of it.

"What are the chances I can get my partner to come along?" Lilian asked.

    ~「Scarfking」~

Sontar was taken aback by how quickly and nonchalantly the woman agreed. He managed to compose himself quickly, though. "Yes, your partner can come along, too. But dont spread this news TOO far- we dont want the authorities to know. And if you're serious, go to the northern edge of the village at sundown today."

    ~「AstralMaria」~

Lilian chuckled at how he flinched when she just replied with a quick yes.

"I was never on the good side of authority anyway, as long as you bring snacks on the way, I'm down for anything." Lilian replied.

    ~「Scarfking」~

"Alright. Thank you." Sontar replied. He ducked away. He already had two, perhaps three, joining him. The elf decided that he had done enough, and wandered the town for the rest of the day.

    ~「AstralMaria」~

"It's no problem, I'll see you around... Uhhh... You." She didn't know his name, so it was odd.

That town, the question of wondering what that thing was was always in her mind no matter how long the walk to the village took. The first day of travel was no more than a quiet walk with occasional chitchat thanks to the shielder's daughter. It was nice, it felt like something Lilian hadn't felt in a long while. She felt, part of something, it was a warm feeling, but it was nice, it was very nice. Don't go soft no Lilian. Her mind beckoned her, telling her that she's going to have to cut off her ties with this man at some point.

The second day, the second day was quiet verbal. Long talks, a few water breaks and even trying each other's equipment. The shield was sturdy, really strong, like it was made of a material that came from the gods themselves. Vaati running full force wielding her Siopilós just pushed her back but didn't even let her stagger as she wielded the shield.

    The third day...

What was that? Could I have stopped it? Why did I run away? Am I that much of a coward? No...

    "Lilith..." Vaati said.

I could have stopped it, I know I can! But... Why didn't I? Have I lost all sense in-

    "Lilith!" Vaati exclaimed.

Lilian shook her head to snap her out of the odd daydream she was having. She couldn't have possibly stopped it, no matter what she did. It's her family's mentality, though it wasn't a very good one. Thinking that they could stop everything by themselves was a Von Hassanpeace pet peeve. Despicable.

"Huh? W-What?!" Lilian exclaimed, replying to the giant of a man.

"Have you lost your senses? We are almost there, you wouldn't want to miss out on such a grand village?" Vaati asked, obviously overcompensating on the whole thing.

"I doubt that there are grand villages." Lilian replied.

    "Just you watch." Vaati stated.

After another hour of walking, there it was Vaati's hometown. It looked nice, very welcoming. People from the other town were already there, different races even. Was the 'bird-creature thing' she fought make it here as well? Maybe, whatever.

"My house is not far, shall we go?" Vaati asked.

"I'd like to look around for awhile, I'll follow." Lilian replied.

"Alright, my house has a gate that looks exactly like my shield, you'll know it when you see it." Vaati added.

    "Understood." Lilian replied.

They then separated and Lilian began to look around the village.
