    Name:

    Autumn Grace Green

    Age:

    28

    Role:

    Pilot

    Appearance:

Autumn stands at a solid 5'11, long messy redheaded hair (It's messy not curly), pale skin, green eyes, freckles across the face, white lips, and that's practically it when it comes to facial features, she's the typical pale redheaded girl, the girl next door type of deal, except she's not, she's a pilot. Her right arm on the other hand is burned from finger to just by the arm pit, completely red and mullered from it's look. She usually wears a coat to hide this anyway.

    Backstory:
Autumn was young little lass when she grew her love for they sky, and that love made her chase her dream to be the best damn pilot the world has ever seen. She graduated all of her years with honours just for the sake to get a scholarship in a piloting school, and anyone who means anything knows that to be a pilot is a difficult thing to achieve academically. She did achieve a scholarship to a flight school, she did rather well in her entrance exam but in the night of August 5, 2404, there was a party and she was in this building. That party was to commemorate a piloting instructor who was leaving the school, and the hall was set on fire, Autumn wish she knew why, but she still doesn't. She almost made it out when the building exploded, it burned her arm but she was alive.

Did the accident stop her from achieving to be the greatest pilot? No, it did delay her a good 4-5 months but she got there in the end. She continued her studies, and she was mostly praised by her full arm scar, it wasn't like anyone was going to survive that the way she did. Autumn did graduate as the valedictorian of her batch, which made her quite the pilot.

Luckily, she wasn't exactly caught in large portion of the crossfire in Albatross, she lived there but she lucky enough not to get hurt. Her dreams grew and so did her experience, she wanted to keep people safe by being the best damn pilot the world has ever seen.

With that, she was tasked to board the Ulysses XVI, no not just to board but to fly the thing, provide evasive maneuvers if needed.

    Kat

"Arcane? Anything in specific or just straight arcane? I heard most mages have specialties." said the witch, she definitely thought she was getting annoying at this point, but it is how Astra does things.

When they walked their it was odd, especially the fact that Emme was there, and it wasn't like they'd talk or anything, but wouldn't a little apology come in order. She watched Ruth walk over to Nihere and ask him something, she wasn't exactly able to hear it but it was no matter. Her glance turned to Emme, but she then shifted to hide her eyes underneath her hat, holding her broom in a very defensive manor as she shuffled her way closer to the rift.

    Vigne

Emme made a little "Tch" sound as she saw the witches face, she was hoping she'd leave the expedition completely after what she had done. Though, with the chat she had with Nihere, she needed to make something of this. She wasn't going to apologize, but make bargain instead. She marched over to the witch and gave her this look before speaking.

"I need to speak with you." Said the gold tinted knight.

    Kat

Astra looked up at the knight as she spoke, this better be an apology or at least something among those lines. But the look on her face said otherwise.

"Uh... Is it to apologize?" Astra was still very much afraid of this person.

    Vigne

"No,you won't hear apologies from me to you, I only wish to bargain for a truce for the meanwhile, our expedition team mustn't have this quarrel between us, so I will hold out my anger, what say you?" Emme asked.

    Kat

    Astra smiled and nodded.

    "Sounds perfect!" She exclaimed.

And with that, the two shook hands for their temporary truce. It will be short lived, but it will be a good short lived type of thing.

    Vigne

"I also hope you won't hit me in the back with your spells, nor do I have to act as a decoy for you to charge your spell." Emme stated, she hated doing that in her previous life.

    Kat

Astra crossed her hands and shook her head. "No,no! You don't have to my long charging spell is too much of a risk and I take my magic to a more up close and personal level." Astra mentioned.

    Vigne

Emme nodded and turned away, she gestured with her head for Astra to come and follow. "Come, we need to rally with our members."

Astra was all giddy and jumpy as they were making their way to the lift, her smile growing ever so larger as the thought of flying on her broom filled her mind, but then, she remembered something and asked.

"Is Nihere and the others there already? Still can't thank him enough for keeping this Ol' witch warm and dandy!" Exclaimed Astra as she pointed at herself.

Other than that thought, Astra started hugging her broom, practically rubbing her cheek against it. One day she'll be a great witch, someday. She then turned to Ruth and held out her free hand.

"Also, I don't think we've acquainted each other, other than our names. So... Hi?" Astra said.

"Right, the lift- I keep forgetting." Astra replied with a slight giggle.

Astra looked at Ruth and extended her arms a little forward to show her the broom, it looked very akin to her longer wand, the top had a sharp curve metal tip that wrapped around it to resemble the the top end of her wand and the broom bits were tightly wrapped in three parts, the broom straws were wrapped with ribbons in a way where there were three plumes that were split into sections. In witch culture this gave brooms an easier way to control the amount of magic used.

"I'm sorry, the only thing I want to talk about right now is the broom, in the name of the nine olde witches, this has been something I've been waiting for, for so long." She stated, she practically hugging the broom at this point, "It might get annoying so, you can ignore if you want." Astra added.

She hopping around, she was so excited, too bad she can't really use it as much... Or at all unless a one second 3 foot hover off the ground sounds like a good idea.

The witch's clothes were still pretty damp, odd but it wasn't a surprise since her session of drying off was pretty short. When she bumped into the shorter woman, as she shook off being stunned for just half a second she smiled and had her eyes connect to her. She wanted to talk about her broom, she really really wanted to talk about her broom so she just shortened the whole Emme incident with a quick.

"Basically, I was forcing her to be friends with me and she got annoyed so she shoved me off the bridge... But more on that later, I got my broom!" She exclaimed.

She was ecstatic, and the fact that she flew even for just a little bit awhile ago it was enough to make her be as happy as a snowflake.

It was the late year of 2321, and during this time people accustomed themselves to using implants to make their lives much, much easier. Though in a world full of technology, something wrong is bound to happen. Multiple humanoid androids have also been created for the protection of mankind, such as two of the most renowned androids, V and R-0. V and R-0 have their specialties, the team of the two is a rather undefeated team because of the aggressiveness of V and the tactical eye of R-0.

Years later, an AI manages to hack into people’s computer chip implants and turns a large number of people into slaves, immediately controlling the world. This includes V and R-0.

Some are not controlled, those who never had implants and those who were lucky enough to remove theirs before being controlled. A group of scientists predict a major solar flare in the next 100 years which could disable technology on Earth. This could stop the AI and disable all chips, freeing the slaves, and especially with the major threat of V and R-0, this needed to be done.

They send themselves and some others into orbit about Neptune, planning to cryopreserve themselves until the solar flare, while being in the presence of a magnetic field strong enough to keep technology running through the solar flare.

They wake up after 10 years, after the solar flare had occurred. The ship is on an 8 day course back to Earth in autopilot, and they must find out what happened and how they must proceed.

The annihilation of R-0 had been confirmed, and so was her weapon the Star Ray, the parts of her weapons are scattered around the world, and possibly the android's memories as well. As for android V, the destruction of her weapon the Beam Slicer was the only thing confirmed, but this lead to her circuits going overdrive, turning her into an indestructible weapon. V can be repelled but not defeated at the current time, so please be wary of her.

Now, will these people be able to take back what was rightfully theirs? Or will they succumb to the AI god program once again? It's up to them to decide. For the glory of mankind.

"Looks like I'm walking." Astra said with a sigh.

She took her broom and walked towards the barracks, though she was smiling as she did, she had never flown on a broom before. Even if it was brief, it was good enough to brighten up her day after everything that had happened.

Astra took a deep breath, she remembered something, some odd sense of deja vu, but what was it? Whatever it was, she can't think of it now. She then straddled on the broom once more and chanted the words a second time.

    "Tia Freyre!" She exclaimed.

The broom sprinkled green dust particles as it slowly lifted her off the ground. She started thinking how to operate this thing exactly- there's only one way to find out. As she got high enough, she leaned forward, the broom then started to move forward a little faster than usual, she then shifted her leg to a tighter, more race like position and she seemed to go even faster. It's going to take time some getting used to, but it should do her well. She zoomed towards the barracks, trying to see if she can see any of her team mates including the gold tinted knight. Maybe she was too far up, since she zoomed right over Nihere's head, she didn't recognize him from such a great height. She circled around the barracks, slowly lowering herself as she did since she didn't know how to stop or lower herself manually.

Astra stared at the broom for a few seconds, examining every nook and cranny of it. She thought of multiple spells that could lift her off the ground but she wasn't sure if it would work on a new broom. She shrugged and straddled over the broom, one leg on each side, she cleared her throat and spoke.

    "Livere Varitz!" No, nothing.

    "Gonguni Sekanaisasai!" Nope.

    "Suna toshi!" Nada.

This went for a little while, until something struck her mind, a spell that she only recently read on a tome she kept a home- it could help with this endevour.

    "Tia... Freyre!" Astra exclaimed.

With that, she floated a few inches off the ground, but her laughter and loss of focus immediately made her fall on the ground seconds after.

    "Tia Freyre!" She chanted again.

But her focus was gone, so she didn't lift up off the ground at all.

Though it wasn't the earliest of times, Amanda had just arrived in the inn, it was late and water was dripping from her hat as she stepped through the door frame. Lively, quite lively little place even with the few amount of people in it, it was still pretty homely. Amanda shuffled her way towards the counter, towards the innkeeper to be exact, she plotted to stay the night and try to leave to at least. Though- there was an odd presence in this little town, something she couldn't ignore, and it was almost like it was keeping her from leaving. Whatever it was- she can deal with it in the morning.

"One room for the night." Said Amanda as she tapped on the desk to gain the man's attention. "And maybe the finest alcohol you can give me."

    (Kat)

Astra couldn't blame anyone other than herself for this incident, she pushed herself on to someone who didn't want anything to do with her. At least that's a lesson learned right? Astra parted the hair on her face to see the man in front of her, it was Nihere. Astra couldn't help but smile as she took his hand still drenched from the whole thing. She removed her hat and looked up at the man.

"Emme happened, apologies for worrying any of you." Astra stated.

She was shivering, dang that water was cold or maybe it because it's abrupt. Whatever it was, Astra was bound to get ill if she doesn't get to dry clothes soon.

    (Scarf)

Nihere shook his head. "No, it wasn't your fault. Emme was way out of line to do something like this. If we can't respect each other, how are we going to work together?" Nihere then noticed Astra's shivering. He was too pre-occupied with Emme to think of it until now. "Oh gosh, here. Take off your shirt." Nihere immedietly took off his robes, revealing his thin build. He handed it to Astra "Put it on. I'll start a fire once we get to the lift."

Nihere felt a little cold, but it was minor compared to how Astra was shivering. He didn't pay attention if Astra put it on or not, he went straight towards the barracks without another word. He understood that sometimes, personalities clash- such things are inevitable. But if they were going to work together they needed to have at least a basic respect for each other, and an understanding that they were on the same team. Anger was easily seen in his face and posture as he walked.

    (Kat)

Astra nodded and took the robes from him, though she didn't take her shirt off since it was a thin skintight suit, it would reveal a bit too much. She wrapped Nihere's robes around herself, taking out her wand afterwards.

"I c-can help, w-with the fire." Astra offered, though her elemental capabilities weren't great, she could probably make the fire with just a little bit of mana consumption.

Astra would do anything for a nice quiet chat by a fire and maybe even a warm drink to go with it. I guess witches aren't suppose to be in this time, or maybe Emme's words were really just getting to her.

    (Scarf)

Nihere turned around after a few steps, hearing Astra saying she could help start the fire. "No, you don't have to. Go ahead to the lift with Ruth, i'm going to talk with Emme. I shouldn't be too far behind. Unless you really need that fire right now...?" Nihere offered. He could easily find a stall with some spare wood, leftover from their crafting, and start the fire immedietly. "We can wait a little while for you to warm up, i'm sure."

    (Kat)

"Maybe a few minutes by the fire, just to dry off a little. Maybe I can jump in to quicker the process." Astra joked.

Even with everything that's happened, Astra tried to keep the mood light and uplifting. It's good, having a smile here and there will at least brighten something up need it be big or small, short or tall, it should make at least the redheaded witch and the rather thin man beside her a little bit happier. Astra laughed, it was the few things she was good at, a very contagious laughter was at play here.

    (Scarf)

Nihere was confused and a little shocked at Astra saying she could expedite the process by jumping into the fire. Once she laughed, a smile replaced his concerned face as he laughed a little. "Okay, lets go and find some wood. Shouldn't be too hard." He then led Astra back across the bridge into the market, asking a few stalls if they had some spare wood for a fire. Eventually, they found some spare wood in a weapons shop. Nihere paid a little bit and took the wood. "We need to light this in a relatively isolated spot, so the fire doesn't spread."

Nihere wandered for a short time, before speaking again. "While we look, do you mind telling me more of what happened? What led up to her pushing you off?"

    (Kat)

"Well, I w-wanted to talk her while on the way to you and the others, but she having absolutely none of it." Said Astra, a small shrug right after the sentence.

Astra thought for a second, it was entirely her fault, she was given multiple warnings and she pushed it further. What was she thinking? Astra's smart enough to back off, she's a witch. Though maybe not all witches are the same, that's true, and in Astra's case- the thing that separates her from other witches isn't a good thing. Astra took a deep breath and spoke.

"I pushed myself on to her way too much... And she didn't like from the start, and I just practically made it worse." Astra then chuckled. "She gave me a few warnings, but me being the persistent little -censored-[/i] she pushed me off."

    (Scarf)

Nihere listened as he started the fire. He used his Flame ability to light the head of his arrow, and used it to ignite the kindling. "I understand what you mean, but that doesn't excuse what she did. You shouldn't have pushed so much, but she shouldn't have pushed back. You were both in the wrong. You just got the worse end of the deal." Nihere stopped talking as his flame took hold, and he put some of the wood near it. The flame was soon a fire. "There you go." Nihere rubbed his arms over his bare chest. "And if you don't mind, i'd like my robes back."

    (Kat)

"R-Right, my apologies." Replied the witch.

Astra removed the robes from her shoulders and slowly placed it on his shoulder. She placed her hands in front of the fire, rubbing them together every now and then. Astra glanced over at nihere, letting out a sigh as she looked away. It was almost a scene from a movie, except without the romantic tension, or maybe there was- Astra just couldn't feel it.

"I always get the worse end of the deal, doesn't mean I can't learn from it. I've always had the luck of really bad chimera droppings, so that's an added bonus I suppose."

    (Scarf)

Nihere had run out of responses at that point. He simply gave Astra a bright smile, and focused on the fire. His robes had gotten damp, but he didn't complain.

His mind turned back to strategy. The targets, the Branded, rather, likely had on their side a brawler, a medic and a rogue. If these assumed roles were to be the case, then it is likely that Emme would have to keep Dein distracted while the rogue harassed everyone else up close. It would be risky, which implied that the medic would focus more effort towards the rogue rather than Dein.

But then came the question of who had the Scimitar. Dein gave off the impression of a brute-force type person, meaning he likely wouldn't wield a weapon that required high amounts of skill. The rogue would likely have it. That would only end up making him more of a threat- and therefore, a bigger target. One way or another, Dein would likely the last person to fall if they got into a fight.

IF they got into a fight with us,[/i] Nihere reminded himself. His primary goal would be to talk them back to the Wrinkle. Instead of battle scenarios, Nihere moved on to is words and phrasing, trying to show them the appeal of going back, and pointing out the dangers of the Conglomerate.

    (Kat)

After a few minutes of being inches away from the fire. Astra put her damp hat back on and spoke.

"Let's go, I should be fine from this point on- and if push comes to shove I can turn into a centaur or something stupid."

Was that moment odd? Nah. It was fun, friends have been made, which was- perfect to say the least. Astra's eyes then widened all of a sudden, she remembered something, she straightened her body and started jogging in place. Her broom, Her broom arrives today! Years of looking for one, and she only had one made a month ago.

"Uhh... You can go ahead to the lift, I'll be there in a fly!" Astra exclaimed.

She then sprinted off to the magic shop downtown, she was excited, her mood uplifted- it was a very good feeling for the moonlit witch.

    (Scarf)

When Astra said they should be getting back, Nihere was snapped out of his thoughts. "Yeah, i think we should go." He agreed. He didn't entierly know how to react to Astra's comment about turning into a centaur, so he ignored it. Astra then said she'd be at the lift 'in a fly', which also confused him. He simply waved goodbye as she ran off. Nihere took care of extinguishing the embers left from the fire. After that, he started walking back to the barracks- just in case Ruth or Emme were still there.

    Name: Amanda von Braunschbank Albrechtsberger

    Species: Human

    Appearance:

Amanda has red eyes with white pupils and fair skin complexion. Her hair is a long silvery white type of thing, which has a lock going down from the left side down to the middle of nose, her rather messy hair also has brown-ish tips which leads to a rumour that her hair was dyed, but the truth remains unknown but.

She wears a gray, red, and white suit that covers most of her body, with a neck that reaches the height of her ears. She has a brown leather saddlebag. In the same colors as her suit, she also wears a large cape and high-heeled boots. She occasionally wears a white and red pointed witch hat.

Abilities: As a witch, Amanda possesses multiple spells and capabilities that she has learned in the witch school she enrolled in back in the day. Amanda has multiple spells that vary on the situation, specific spells such as Sybilladura Lelladybura allows her to call upon the moon to send down a blast of power (doesn't work in caves), she also has multiple other spells that I'll probably use in the future.

Special Weaknesses (If any): Amanda is way too cocky for her own good, it's good at times but not all the time, though she may have a soft spot she's cocky at least 80% of the time. Using Sybilladura Lelladybura also completely empties her mana circuits which renders her body to move at all

Items they have: Amanda has two wands, and a broom. Amanda's first wand is a a foot long wand, it looks like a a spit with a handle stuck to the bottom. The second wand is a white two and half foot wand with gems that resemble the big dipper constellation, and lastly her broom is a 7 foot long broom with the tip of the broom resembling an arrow head.

Backstory (Optional): Not much is known about Amanda's backstory, other than she joining a prestigious school for witches, in this school she was the #1 broom flyer and she was also one of the rebellious types, though she still graduated with honours which was a surprise. After then Amanda went quiet, other than flying across the world and going to places she's never been before, but somehow she ended up in Weise and for some reason refuses to leave.

As Astra left the barracks, she was already trying to make up the conversation in her mind- she didn't really know Emme at all, so she thought Emme would be very knightly and all that, though maybe someone knightly wouldn't completely cover their entire body in plate, especially since it was some form of respect. She started talking to herself as she walked towards this blacksmith. "E-Emily- I mean, Emme, I-I came to get you, for... Uhh...-" This went on for minutes until she got somewhere closer to the inner parts of the town.

Astra could swear she could see Emme in the distance, past a Bridge to be exact- though a little goblin thing, orc? No definitely a goblin- Orcs aren't that small. The little goblin practically came out of nowhere, sprinting past a few people which included Astra herself and Emme. She saw Emme look up at her, crossing paths at the Bridge. Astra stood still and stared blankly at her, trying to figure out what to say.

"H-He-Hell-Gr-Greetings, no wait, Hello, I urr... Uhh... C-Came to get you, we- Urrr.. We were about to discuss strategy and we... Urr... Need you."
