Quick question: how do I complete the "lava aqueduct" with only one bucket of lava? I was expecting to find more in the nether. I haven't explored it extensively, but I'm getting the impression there isn't any and I don't really want to waste time building bridges to nowhere. I mean, I guess it could be an ever sloping downward aqueduct, but that seems odd.
With the aqueduct challenge, the idea was actually to make an ever sloping downward flow of lava, which you can use to power things that use lava all over the overworld.
I am terribly sorry that you all had to wait this long for me to with the issue with the End... But it's fixed now! 3.07 has been released, and you can even update to 3.07 w/o losing your progress (see original post for instructions)

So, first of all, thank you all so much for downloading this map. I never knew that this little update I made to the original skyblock would ever near 100,000 downloads!
Second, I know... The nether is way too small, and I should've made an update months ago fixing that. The spawn rates are horrible due to the little "box" I made.
And that update will come! But that will not be the only thing. I am updating the map to 1.12 (the snapshots, of course) with some new 1.12-related features.
Stay tuned! And thanks again, from the bottom of my heart.
In regards to squids spawning, it became easier to just create a villager breeding system and get a shepherd villager (to get enough emeralds for the wool just create a gold farm and use the zombie flesh on clerics). or you can slowly fish enough inc sacs. I was managed to get 4 after two hours of fishing. Creating a villager farm is faster than fishing.
Also to the map maker could you expand the nether voidness? Because reaching a bedrock wall after a 100ish blocks to the wall isn't big enough. please atleast double the nether voidness.
Good idea for the squids! Also, in MCEdit the void size looked big enough but if it's only 100ish blocks I do see why it may be a bit too small. I'll see if I can enlarge it
500 downloads! Thanks to everyone who's been trying out this mod. I'm currently working on some CraftTweaker implementation, so you can expect a new update within a few days.

I believe the widget is broken again.
Probably because mods.curse.com has moved to curseforge.com

There is already a way of creating infinite dirt, but not via mob drops Try to figure it out!

Just like in vanilla, you need to get the very first advancement first before anything pops up

I changed it. Only one bucket now, unless you craft more
One of the islands contains more water if you're searching for that.
This map is made for vanilla...

The islands are already 200 blocks away, are you sure you have the right version of the map?

A quick look on the GitHub page reveals that it won't be down forever

Due to 16w41a overhauling observer blocks, none of the contraptions here work anymore.
