posted a message on Villagers in trading hall won't restock trades.

In my hall, they have direct access to the workstation, it's behind them. Is yours possibly preventing them reaching the station?

I weirdly have a bug at the moment, where they start restocking their inventory at 8am and keep refreshing it every 15 seconds to 3pm.

posted a message on Back after few years, need trustworthy info?

I can thoroughly recommend Xisumavoid, he is from Hermitcraft and has a huge video library on what's contained in each update. He also does tutorials, let's plays and myth-busting. Very easy to listen to, with good humour and very good video style (handy with building tutorials etc).

Can't help with multiplayer, not played on it for years.

Yeah, so many others with that error and nearly all of them say it's because Minecraft is widescreen and the user with the missing sword/pickaxe etc is using a more square monitor. Windowed mode should allow you to see everything or just change the aspect ratio of the game to match the monitor.

You could try changing the game size in the settings in the launcher, just to see?

I think it's something to do with your monitor's aspect ratio. The problem has been posted a lot but the answers are a little sketchy. One was solved by altering the aspect ratio of the monitor. I'll keep looking.

I watched Xisumavoid since he started when he was very quiet and almost shy. Good to see how his personality has shone through, and he still one of the better tutorial makers.

Others I use for tutorials are Snocrash, ilmango (his mob farm is so efficient it slows my pc!), gnembon and a couple of others.

I get put off by the ones who put on stupid voices like they feel it's necessary to get noticed.

I know everyone copies the Hermit-style one, but actually, you can do it without any redstone.

(It says consoles, but works fine on PC too)

That's the one I did. Very productive.

    Quote from Wolftopia»

Yes, it is exploiting game mechanics. The fishing system was designed and balanced with in mind that the player would do normal fishing, not make an automatic fisher.

Virtually all aspects of the game are exploited for the benefit of the player. The person that came up with the design merely simulated a lake and automated the fishing process. No different to crop farms and spawner farms. The game is sandbox, if the mechanic is available outside of a bug, it should be fair game. Whether it's morally ok is up to the player.

Is it a game-breaker? Well I'm currently having a last run through and locked the difficulty so I couldn't import stuff if I lost it. I built one of these to test it and I have to say the amount of stuff you get it amazing and I can understand why people feel like it's cheating. To get any real success from it, you should overnight it, however it does makes the Villager farms redundant and food farms as well.

You just end up with a huge library of very good enchanted books, masses of fish for food and all the associated treasure, you also get enough XP to enchant everything to the max and put Mending on everything.

Not sure if it's game-breaking but for me it's about the most powerful machine you can make.

posted a message on Gamer questions for gamers

    1. What is your favorite game to play on a game server?

Return To Castle Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

    2. What is the best thing(s) about playing on a game server and why?

Game interaction with human rather than AI.

    3. What is the worst thing(s) about playing on a game server and why?

Cheats who pretend it's skill. I can live with hackers who ruin a game openly but the players who wall and bot and pretend it's genuine skill are vermin.

    4. Do you buy in-game items or donate to servers and why?

No, never. I have freely given my time to staffing servers before but never monetary donations.

    5. What skills (game skills or life skills) have you learned from playing on your favorite server?

I've never really learnt any skills but had my suspicions about players willingness to cheat and misbehave whilst they think they aren't being watched confirmed more times than I care to remember.

    6. If you couldn't play on your favorite server anymore, what would you miss the most?

I really don't play very much multiplayer anymore, a bit of Counterstrike Source but the halcyon days of Quake III, Enemy Territory, Unreal etc are well behind me. What I miss most about those days were the genuine players that played hard and well with good humour and weren't bothered by stats and winning but by having a good time.

I don't I'm sorry - It was a random map, I think I'd cut a 100x100 section to post an image on ore spread and this showed up. Just checked Imgur and it was August 2013, so I wouldn't have kept it.

The best one I've found was completely encased in stone. Only saw it because I was playing with World Edit.

The full release is a different game for me, with good FPS and very playable. So something drastic did occur, thankfully.

The main point of trolling is to garner a reaction. If there is no reaction, the trolling will cease.

'Removed Herobrine' still gets players jumping for the bait like mackerel and so it will continue. Ad Infinitum.
