    Excuse me if I don't explain this the best. So you know how Diorite, Andestite, and smooth stone are all different values of "stone", right? well, using resource and data packs, would it be possible to create custom textures for other block variants? say I wanted to add a variant of obsidian with a custom texture. would there be a way to do this? thanks for the help!

    Hello, I've been working on my map lately and I was wondering if there was an easy way to reduce player hearts below the 10 hearts, or 20 half-hearts? I've tried using corrupt potion effects and all but nothing seems to work.

    I wanted to try out the old, buggy beta versions of minecraft, but I'm aware that corruption is a huge issue. I'll back up all of my saves and switch back to the backed-up saves after I do this, but I was wondering if it had any other potentially harmful side effects? Thanks :)

    The Wither shouldn't be easy to spawn. Having the Skeletons spawn everywhere would allow you to spawn TONS of withers in a relatively short amount of time, which would be absolute HELL in the hands of griefers. it would also devalue Beacons and make them less special and unique.

    NO SUPPORT.

    1. Didn't work. It wouldn't connect.

    2. I tried both. still nothing.

    3. Disabled my router's firewall entirely. still have no connection to my server.

    Yes, both "localhost" and "192.168.1.11" work to connect, but not my public ip, which makes it only useful for LAN.

    I didn't explain it because it's already in-game in 1.9. It basically causes you to have a thick glowing outline that's visible through any number of blocks. The only way to get it without commands is to shoot someone with a spectral arrow as of now.

    I agree that names that are racist or have swear words should be removed, but their accounts shouldn't be taken away. I simply think they should be forced to change their username (name changes are a thing, you know.)
