Sorry dudes, been very busy lately. Getting married in less than 2 weeks!

I've wanted to start playing minecraft again so I'll probably set aside some time to update the skin after the dust has settled. Wish me luck!

    You still exist! Yay!
I absolutely love your texture pack, great to know it might be updated soon. Doing it myself just isn't the same, haha.

    Congratulations!

Is this ever going to be updated again?

I really miss using it. D:

Ah, I hope this means I can manage mods better sometime in the future! Digging up mods right now is a nightmare, and seeing as I'm quite the addon connoisseur with WoW and Minecraft alike, I'm hoping for future client integration. :3

Remember to uninstall all instances of Java on your system before downgrading it!
    Should have mentioned that earlier...

I had this problem for forever. (You might have seen my other posts and noticed they were useless, sorry. Lol) To the others saying it's a problem with the Minecraft servers, this particular problem is not related to them, it's an issue on the client-sided machine.

My solution? Contrary to popular opinion, I decided to downgrade Java to SE6 U20. Haven't crashed in the month or so since. Give it a try?

It reminds me of the kind of music that plays during trailers, or when you sit at a game menu screen long enough and a demo video starts to play. :tongue.gif:

It's catchy and enjoyable, thank you for sharing.

The whole dropping on your head thing reminds me of the headcrabs from the Half-Life series.
Now, imagine if they mind controlled... oh lawd.

    I approve, but I think the ceiling crawling aspect will make me switch to peaceful mode D;

I think they would be interesting too. Reading up on someone's day in Minecraft, or just a random story to pass the night, would make those intermittent points where it's too dangerous to go outside not so boring. :ohmy.gif:

posted a message on Yet Another Book Thread
    Yes, I searched already.

But the one thing I didn't see suggested in terms of book usage is, after writing one, being able to share it to other players of Minecraft, like a general library database stored on a remote server owned by Notch or something. Where, when you place a bookcase block, it downloads a book (or however number would be better) unique to that bookcase another player created, that you can read when you click that particular bookcase, or open a menu for a selection of titles available to that particular bookcase block (which I saw someone suggested similar to.) That's how, players can create their own unique libraries in their houses when placing multiple bookcase blocks, with user-generated content from all over. (You can also incorporate other players' suggestions, as noted in other threads.)

I don't mean sharing books in SMP games - those can be written and stored on those particular servers I guess, or can still pull from the central 'library' database. I understand this can also bring into question server loads due to massive amounts of downloads, but meh, book sizes can be restricted, and they can be confined to where it's just a text download, and the graphic interface and controls can be client sided. Text files are relatively small to begin with. (Though, of course, tiny downloads in large sizes...poor server(s).) Also, books downloaded to a particular bookcase will remain on that particular bookcase block until destroyed by lava or something, to limit download abuse by breaking and replacing a block.

Then comes the question of abusive material in books...about that, I think books created should have a cover page that automatically stamps the username of the player as its author, with the ability to report abusive material within the book reading interface. I realize this may be a faulty suggestion, seeing as the entirety of Minecraft as we know it is basically user-run, private owned servers and the ability to fake a name is pretty easy, but meh, I don't think it'd be bad to try? Lolz.

And if this was suggested already...well damn, slap me with a link to the thread. :SSSS:
