Flying up and flying down at the same time results in staying in place, allowing you to easily place blocks while holding Sneak without moving downwards.
Is there a tutorial revealing some methods for building in Creative? Some things I don't understand. For instance, if I'm floating and want to attach a hopper to a chest, i press shift to attach, but that makes me sink to the ground. I see youtubers building without that problem. I want to learn. Thanks for your suggestions.
