    WitherCraft!
Welcome to the WitherCraft texture pack thread created by Zion. This texture pack is a Dark RPG style. I have a few blocks and items done already. But still lot's to do. I will post screenshot's of my progress soon.

Look, I'm glad you've found a hobby, but having "a few blocks and items done already" is hardly enough to make a thread about it. Why don't you finish the pack first, and then come back when you have something to show? Otherwise you're just spamming the forum.

posted a message on I feel as though the even distribution of weight across the planet is a necessity.
    Quote from Phenylglyceride

I say we invent a machine that sucks the fat out of people, and then we distribute that fat evenly among people who desperately need it.

I have no clue how we could do that, but 40 years ago people said a computer would never be smaller than about the size of a room. We must find a way.

I say we invent a machine that sucks the whipped cream out of cream filled donuts and then distributes it evenly somewhere other than my friggin donut. Who puts whipped cream in a donut? Bavarian cream is obviously superior.

I have no clue how we could do that, but 40 years ago people said a donut would never be anything but a ring of dough with a hole in the middle. We must find a way.

    So, yeah.

Yeah, I remember when I was young and stupid, and that being offensive for the sake of offense was a good thing.

posted a message on Is there a way to extract a seed straight from a world?
    Quote from ProteusXRC

Apparently, the world I'm using for my server is pretty screwed up, causing Minecraft to throw a crap-ton of errors not long after loading. I wanted to take the seed and regenerate the world, but whenever I use the seed displayed when I hit F3, it generates a completely different world, and I've ruled out server versions as the causing factor.

All I can figure is that the seed is being reported incorrectly, or something to that effect.

    F3. You're doing something wrong.

    Reality in minecraft?

    Punching trees apart...
    diamond gems as tools...
    alternate dimensions...
    zombies...
    magical glowing dust...

Doesn't sound very realistic to me. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're dead wrong in hating potions.

    Quote from jeffjewell

Seed is jjewell all lower case. Spawn point coordinates X=0.5, Z=0.5. Stronghold is, well, you'll find it.

Good find. A shame it doesn't have the new silverfish spawn though.

People are lazy, and so it seems are you. I took the time to remove the excess. Fail troll is fail.

I'm sorry that you think making a reasonable comment is trolling. "Removing the excess" as you put it is irrelevant, since plugging the default.png in works perfectly well. It's not laziness to not take extra steps when those extra steps do absolutely nothing but waste time.

My point still stands whether you want to shout troll or not.

All you did was rename default.png to alternate.png. Do you really think this needed to be a "mod?" For all the effort you're making people go through, you might as well have simply told them to rename the file themselves, except there's already a dozen threads explaining how to do just that.

posted a message on Why do evil spirits hate salt?
    Quote from Dinh AaronMk

    Because it makes them thirsty.

And because they're spirits they can't drink.

Spirits don't drink themselves, you know. That's why I'm drunk most of the time.

What's this? A supposed texture pack, with no provided pictures, available from Mediafire, from a guy with only six posts?

Yeah, totally not a virus or anything...

posted a message on Behavior of Wood and Trees
Trees only grow from saplings, and they only grow once. When a sapling grows into a tree, it instantly grows to the size and shape it will be forever. There are no multiple stages of growth.

Planted wood will never grow or spread.

posted a message on Armenian Genocide
It has been nearly a century since this happened. Everyone that had a hand in this is dead, and this happened long before you, or anyone currently in the Turkish government was born. I feel you have no right to be outraged at an entire country for something that you didn't even experience. Furthermore, what good would an apology from Turkey do? Would it bring those dead people back? Would it affect any of us in any meaningful, tangible way, besides giving some angry people peace of mind? The current Turks didn't commit this act, why should they be held accountable for something their ancestors did?

I think it is morally wrong to ask for someone to apologize for the actions of their parents and grandparents, especially when the people demanding the apology aren't even the ones that directly endured it. This kind of thinking is what causes blood feuds that last centuries.

In summary: Bummer, it's history now.
