How come this mod is overriding many of the Myths and Monster's mobs? An immediate cursory glance shows that there are no longer Dendroids or their variants, nor Cetus, as the Elemental Witch spawn eggs are in their spots. Any chance of seeing a compatibility fix for that?
Hey Ivorious, just wanted to kind of check in and see if you'd found anything in regards to that Piston Block crash on World Generation. I'm not really having many issues with it, but I do get the occasional crash when creating a new World, and so wanted to know if you or anyone else has found a way to avoid the crash, aside from just removing pistons entirely.
Mind you, it's probably my own MCSchematic files that are causing the random, sporadic crashes, but do you have any idea what actually causes the crash? For example, there will be a few occasions where the schematic in question will spawn extremely close to my world starting spawn, but not crash. On other world creations, it just crashes out of the blue. Could it be due to multiple schematics spawning in close proximity to one another, causing some kind of overload? Or is it more so due to generation overload in general?
Just curious on any information you may have found while coding Recurrent Complex. Much thanks

I'll upload the entire .log file if requested, and I admit to not using the most recent version, but I don't know why this problem randomly appeared out of nowhere on a New World generation with no new mods added, nonetheless.

I honestly do not know whether this is specifically related to Natura or Tinkers' Construct, nor whether it is a mod incompatibility, but I seem to be having some major issues with Villager-related trades. I assume it is related to Tinkers' Construct as I can't find information on whether Natura spawns anything in Villages or not (Or I could be blind/insane, in which case please halp).
When I right click to trade with a Tinkers' Villager, my game ends up crashing more often than not. The Trade screen itself actually pops up, but freezes almost immediately, followed by a crash. I'm relatively certain that it is Natura/Tinkers', as it only occurs with that Villager. The only mod that I find to possibly have a tangible effect on this would be MCA, but it seems to work with other mods that change Villagers, so I'm somewhat at a loss. I also recall having this issue in previous versions.

Curious, is the Aether team using Global Entity IDs or mod-specific ones? And if it's Global, would it be possible or too much of a hassle to move to entity-specific ones?
Just wanted to hop in here and say, Greymerk, that your dungeons are probably some of the best I've seen. I'm not sure if it was a new dungeon template or just one I hadn't run across, but this most recent one was seriously cool. Giant pitfalls that had Pistons to shove you off the ledge if you aren't watching where you're walking, as well as the stereotypical RPG arrow wall that, strangely enough, I rarely see in generated dungeons. Keep doing whatever it is you're doing, because it's pretty darn cool.
So I take it that Biome mods are still impossible to get spawning in the Default world type? Really, really miss this and Biomes O' Plenty, but I'm too paranoid about certain structures/ruins/whatever other world gen not spawning in a world that isn't Default. Mind you, I'd assume that the good world gen mods spawn via the Forge Biome Dictionary, but still...
Just tossed this guy into my load order. Haven't figured out how to kill it as of yet, but I must say that it has an outstanding model and animation. I've been waiting for a stationary plant-like creature for a while, so I'm pretty happy that I finally get to see one implemented, and in a pretty damn good manner.
Question time: Forgive me if this is obvious as I haven't checked, but are you already using Entity IDs that are unique to the mod, or are you using the generic? Just wanting to double-check and make sure to avoid mob mod conflicts.
I definitely look forward to more great monster concepts.
The Modpack Adult Sundown on the TechnicLauncher works perfectly fine with M&M and provides the mod that way if I understood correctly you are looking for it?
Not too long ago, the mod was crashing on start-up because it was making some call to a Dropbox that was down in order to see who could wear capes for the mod.
Mohawky, it does appear to be "fixed", but only because the Dropbox is back up. Sadly, it's only a matter of time before it occurs again.
causes the internal server on SSP (and SMP I imagine) to completely lock down. Doesn't seem to clear up after a few minutes either.

It looks like it only locks up in the Jungle for my SSP playthroughs. I do have a large list of mods running alongside Roguelike, but generation -only- locks up if Roguelike is present in the load list. Hopefully you'll glance over the code, Greymerk, and see if you can optimize anything. But in the off chance that it is just massive generation overload (Since the Jungle already appears to be pretty darn intensive), is there any chance that you can add a Biome blacklist, as well as the dimension blacklist? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Edited in: It doesn't appear to crash when I log back into the world, but should I be worried about the initial crash at all, or was it just resetting a GUI or something?

I honestly do not know whether this is specifically related to Natura or Tinkers' Construct, nor whether it is a mod incompatibility, but I seem to be having some major issues with Villager-related trades. I assume it is related to Tinkers' Construct as I can't find information on whether Natura spawns anything in Villages or not (Or I could be blind/insane, in which case please halp).
When I right click to trade with a Tinkers' Villager, my game ends up crashing more often than not. The Trade screen itself actually pops up, but freezes almost immediately, followed by a crash. I'm relatively certain that it is Natura/Tinkers', as it only occurs with that Villager. The only mod that I find to possibly have a tangible effect on this would be MCA, but it seems to work with other mods that change Villagers, so I'm somewhat at a loss. I also recall having this issue in previous versions.

Curious, is the Aether team using Global Entity IDs or mod-specific ones? And if it's Global, would it be possible or too much of a hassle to move to entity-specific ones?

Question time: Forgive me if this is obvious as I haven't checked, but are you already using Entity IDs that are unique to the mod, or are you using the generic? Just wanting to double-check and make sure to avoid mob mod conflicts.

Not too long ago, the mod was crashing on start-up because it was making some call to a Dropbox that was down in order to see who could wear capes for the mod.
Mohawky, it does appear to be "fixed", but only because the Dropbox is back up. Sadly, it's only a matter of time before it occurs again.

Fully agreeing here. It makes a ridiculous difference, especially with a heavily modded Minecraft. No reason to -not- at least give FastCraft a shot.

Going to just go ahead and echo this, as I believe it to be happening on my SSP as well.

It looks like it only locks up in the Jungle for my SSP playthroughs. I do have a large list of mods running alongside Roguelike, but generation -only- locks up if Roguelike is present in the load list. Hopefully you'll glance over the code, Greymerk, and see if you can optimize anything. But in the off chance that it is just massive generation overload (Since the Jungle already appears to be pretty darn intensive), is there any chance that you can add a Biome blacklist, as well as the dimension blacklist? It'd be greatly appreciated.
