posted a message on Extreme Challenge

    Hi there the following challenge is one that i have personally done and failed at in Minecraft, we all know hardcore mode is more or less a joke so thats why ultra hardcore with no healing was created. However i think we could take things to another level on difficulty. Let me expain the rules;

    1. Eternal Night

    2. Locked Hard Mode

    3. Healing Disabled

    4. No Diamonds

    5. No Meat

    6. Only wear leather armor or ones that drop from mobs

    7. No Shields

    My my, talk about depressing........

posted a message on Bunny Problem

So, animals on the 3DS edtition. Not just them but mobs themselves has a very limited number on a world (I see why). But whenever I see a bunny on my island and let it be, after awhile another bunny appears, them another and another. Blocking other mobs from spawning. Luckily a wolf spawned on my island and started eating them for me, which I found so helpful. Also that wolf allowed me to gather other animals for my farm which I am getting started right now on my 3DS world. But there is one question, where did that wolf go? Now the bunny population is rising again, and I don have the time to run after all of them to kill them or to lure them into my garden house with a dandelion and then kill them.

Do you guys know what I can do to stop these adorable pests?

In the attachment I am using a Mario Texture pack and do you know how hard it is to take a picture of one? They run so fast

I finally got out by restarting my world without saving it.........I did quite a bit before that but I didn't want to be stuck for any longer. That was before 1.2 update on 3DS, so I am guessing they fixed it? Along with quite alot of other glitches.

Yeah, about the boat thing. How do you get out? Cause I was stuck in one for hours...........I felt really stupid

posted a message on Is it possible to play Minecraft with a ps3 and ps4 on the same world ?
    Quote from Cunsey»

No sadly, both versions have different features and I also believe the PS3 version will no longer be updated.

The PS3 will have the "Update Aquatic" as its final update then they are discontinuing PS3 Minecraft Edition.

But, no. I don't think it works PS3/PS4 same world.

Moving along in a Boat feels laggy, and Inconsistent.

Also the bow (front) of the boat glitches far and close.

One time I also loaded a seed while using plastic texture, and everything close to me showed up as Red.

I was in Creative Mode when I did this, and MOST of the Items in my menu were Red Blocks. But they

did show up as titled what they were. To Remedy this, I quit/saved and re-loaded in normal or city texture,

and all was ok. Plastic worked fine after that too.

posted a message on What does your survival base look like?

Sorry in advance to the terrible quality of my cameraman-ship, but here is my 3DS base:

Picture 1: And outside view of my whatever you call a base. The ground floor with windows is my small garden room with temporarily housing my two farm animal's, a Chicken and a Cow. 2nd floor is accessible only by the outside ladder and that glass hallway (that leads to my Storage Hall), in that second floor is my wood and tools storage along with my furnaces. The third floor is my bedroom floor.

Picture 2: Garden Room, you can see its very small, yeah I hunt most of the time. But usually I farm in Minecraft. You can also see my Cow of which I call Butter, and that sideways light brown block near the door (Laughs) is a Chicken. I am using the Mario Texture Pack and chickens are Gumbas XD.

Picture 3: I always thought the larger island below mine looked really similar to the UK island. Doesn't it?

Picture 4: Yeah all I have in my Storage Hall is a bunch of chests and a room for Hay bales and another for Coal Blocks (Which I have quite a bit of).

Picture 5: is a view looking down on my "base" from my tallest tower, called Overlook Tower. I only use it to look down upon my little island.

posted a message on What does your survival base look like?

Wow, Mine is much simpler. You've got it good and organized. Nice :insert thumbs up:

    Quote from TheMasterCaver»

My bases are primitive by most standards; they lack any sort of XP/mob/resource farms beyond the most basic manual farms (e.g. a fenced in area for passive mobs) as I've never seen the point of them when my playstyle nets me more of everything than I could ever use (an average play session sees me collecting more than 3,000 resources and 5,000 XP).

Here are some screenshots of my main base in my first world:

A rendering of the base, which includes a large walled-in area surrounding a naturally generated village. Most of the base is a structure with a glass roof which was originally a tree farm, now used to hold some animals, including some pink sheep and Mooshrooms as trophies, with jungle trees being my primary source of wood (used to make torches while caving):

    The main room:

This was the first room that I made:

An updated screenshot of my map wall:

Most of my base proper is a huge underground storage room which stores more than 3 million resources:

This is a cutaway I made by using MCEdit to delete everything above; each corridor of 16 double chests is capable of storing nearly half a million resources (16 * 54 * 64 * 9 when stored as blocks)

    Inside the glass-roofed area:

I've made a bit fancier bases in later worlds (I still play on my first world but have never felt the need to upgrade it; virtually all my time after the "end-game" is spent caving):

(a brewing stand is in the corner near the middle; I don't brew any potions after the "early-game", where I only make a few Fire Resistance for the Nether and Weakness to cure zombie villagers; likewise, the only enchanting that I do afterwards is enchanting items that I use for repairs for 1 level so I can use them up a bit to maximize repair efficiency)

(this is always the most significant part of my bases; in this world I collected over 430,000 resources)

(in this world I traded with villagers early on to get Mending, later on I just moved some of the villagers into this village on top of my base; I've always made some sort of village like this regardless of whether or not I actually traded with them; in my first world I do still trade during the "end-game" to get diamond gear for repairs, which is just something I do for fun)

I do branch-mine early on to collect resources but afterwards I get everything that I need as a byproduct of caving for fun:

For comparison, this is a map of all of the caves that I explored in this world; the branch-mine seen above is near the top-center; more than 99.5% of all mined resources came from caving, a figure which is even higher in my first world due to less branch-mining (I mined about 3x as much in this world due to a rare mod ore; I don't even see Fortune as worthwhile on diamond) and around 6 as many caves explored:

Also, here is a full surface rendering of the world, including the Nether and End, which are pretty much devoid of player builds; the Nether has a small room (the portal generated inside of a circular cave room) with an enchanting setup which I only used while mining quartz for the XP needed to enchant my end-game gear, I never returned to either dimension after I was done enchanting or killed the dragon (I did not even put a portal in my main base, which I built after killing the dragon):

I also have secondary bases, 17 in my first world, 0-2 in other worlds, but they are little more than places to restock on supplies and store resources between caving sessions, with occasional trips back to my main base for permanent storage, with railways linking them together.

posted a message on Minecraft 3DS Version

I have Minecraft on my 3DS and since I don't really have a liable computer yet or Phone (Yes, my phone is captive by my 12yr old sister, it really sucks), so my 3DS is my primary Minecraft Experience besides my PS4 Minecraft. Thats my story, here's my thoughts on it: The first time I got it was Nov. 22nd 2017 and when I started playing I was quite happy with how it turned out. Though, it wasn't at all comparible to PC edition or Mobile, it was a good start. Once i saw that 2 texture packs were included i was thrilled, then also the fact the touch screen had an in-built map+coordinates, Amazing. Then on that day it asked me if I wanted to update, I was like "HECK yeah". Most of the update were things I didn't even notice were bugs or didn't work well. And adding achievements....."they weren't there before? Oh". Later on......1.2 was even better, then 1.3 was even more so, 1.4 was okayyyy, love the Mario Texture pack.

So (I am new to this but here I go)

What are your guys thoughts or opinions on this version of Minecraft?

posted a message on Is Minecraft Dying...?

It's a matter of when. So yes, Minecraft is dying. ... All games die, some comeback but some really don't. For me I never was really involved with the Minecraft Community because was a non-conformist kid for some reason.......However, if by the reasoning on whether Minecraft is dying rapidly due to the lack of content and players, well, I don't know where you're getting your information, but there is no sign that Minecraft is a dead game....yet

I love Minecraft quite a bit, though it should have alot more to it by now. It's freaking 2018. But I know they are doing what they can. My building and other methods of gameplay are getting better, since I was never really engaged much in Video Games or Sports this is quite good. I love to play with my friends and family, since it provides a good way to combine our creativity and survival skills. Being Introverted this was my Social Getaway.

On the Youtube side of things, Yes it is dying quickly. Interest in it doesn't seem to be as large anymore, comparing to 2012 (The year I got into it).

Anyway that's my take, Peace out! :D
