    Hey guys, you may notice I don't post much over the weekends. So sometimes there can be 3 pages of new posts when I first get back on so forgive me if you asked something directly and I missed it.

    So some of you guys want to draw the gods, which is cool :smile.gif:, but to be clear they have no true physical form. When I say net rips out his heart to create something, it's a metaphor for a sacrifice so extreme that putting it in those terms is the only way we (people with hearts) can understand it. The god's are just energies -> that have a will, and emotions. This doesn't mean of course they can convert some of their energies into mass and appear as a physical being, and then animate this puppet with more energy. But this would not be a true representation, and should bring rise to the understanding that the gods can appear as WHATEVER THEY WANT.

    So as not to stifle creativity, if the Gods did CHOOSE to appear in physical form for whatever reason. They would look very closely to their related sphere of energy or idea. Hence:

    Terrae = Could appear as a fairy, an animated tree, as a voice on the breeze, a flower ... etc ...
    Roki = Could appear as an entire mountain, or a grain of sand, as a a contruct of lava, or a walking iron automaton ...
    Net = Could appear as a pig, creeper, or a giant flaming behemoth, or (and this one could tweak some nerves), as a regular steve with hollow white eyes .... since that is in his sphere.

    Also most gods are stated as being "All-Knowing" ... but if the primes were all knowing, they wouldn't need to create anything as there would be no point? They would just exist in perfection forever. The three primes are not all-knowing but are still very very powerful. They created the world out of boredom and experimentation. They wanted to see what would happen, and because they sacrificed so much -> they love the entire thing dearly, even net. His rage and hate being because he was taken away from something he sacrificed so much to create.

    Lastly, the gods don't hate each other. Priests may, as their understanding of the gods changes over time and they are a slave to their own mortal emotions and drives. But in the higher sense, the gods know that each of them creates a whole, and that each of them are necessary.

    Lastly lastly -> I created the actual paths first, and then wrote the lore because I enjoy writing and thinking about this stuff. Hence there may be some inconsistencies or balance issues. Lets just say if there is something that contradicts something else that; "The gods ways cannot be understood by us". And therefore it was just a misinterpretation. Easy.

    You can build whatever you wish in the free zones, but those paths are not considered canon for this exact reason. Too many paths means too much stuff going on. I want to keep the core 3 primes, and 6 prodigies.

    The way the minor paths work, is first you will have to accept one of the 3 primes and complete their path in full! Then you can move to one of the 2 minor gods for that path OR Nixos. Nixos is special in the fact that any god will accept him into their lands, so he can pledge to any god.

    The paths will also be slightly different on the servers but I will rework them as appropriate if and when the server gets created.

    Server Ideas

    I may look into renting a server space soon, and start working on a server with my brother -> this is all dependant on the time I can dedicate and general community interest.

    I am thinking of constructing the server with 4 zones, one for each of the primes and a single neutral free build zone in the centre if you wish to simply exist in the world without the gods approval, or be an athiest. This could turn out interesting as wars between the faiths rage on around you... Will you assist a side..? Or shelter/protect your home from both sides..? The landscape will be custom generated but the zones will be large and have obvious building space for each of the prodigies (e.g, deserts in Roki's domain for shen).

    Upon login you will arrive at a neutral zone with minimal rights. This neutral zone will be a white temple in the middle of the servers lands and have general information about the 3 primes. You choose your deity here, and head out on a "pilgrimage" towards that deities specific lands. I would like to make it difficult to get there. For example tests of agility (jump puzzles) to get to terrea's land, tests of muscle for Roki, and devious puzzles for net. This will seperate the worthy from the un-worthy.

    Each prime will have an appointed "high priest" that has moderator rights. This priest is in charge of his domain, and is required to make rulings on arguments or conflicts within the zone as well as having moderator control over aspects of his domain only (not sure if this is possible, I haven't done much multi-player stuff). At the start of each month, i.e. the "first" of each month, EVERYONE on the server will meet within the white temple in a specialised upstairs room to vote on the "high priest" for that month. The only rules are you must vote, you cannot vote for yourself, and the previous high priest has 2 votes and cannot be voted for. Hence giving everyone a chance to become the high priest if the community chooses it.

    There will be designated area's of the map called "Holy Sites", there will be a number of them and they will be ancient structures with their own lore. These are PvP zones, and must be "captured" by eliminating enemy opposition and building a shrine of your faith on a specific point. The goal is to hold the zone for your god!

    I want to write something in regards to the enderman, and the dimension the end.
    I imagine this god would either be very opposed to them, or somehow related?

    Get rid of that torch ?

    EDITO: Re-read your text ... my bad.
    I would get rid of the torches on top to be safe ... there is no real need to stop mobs from spawning there.

    posted a message on 2 mob ideas for 1.2
    I would prefer unique mobs, or mobs that add a useful resource instead of bland imitations of earth-like mobs.

    Puffs -> rare but peaceful creatures that float through the sky and survives by eating clouds. When the sun goes down they are drawn to light and thus float around the players house like giant moths.

    Sea Sponge -> a source of sponge. Drops a sponge piece, and when 9 are obtained you can craft a single sponge block that helps to manage water.

    Mimic -> Hostile mob that takes on the appearance of the closest friendly mob. If approached attacks veraciously. Drops "mimic blood" that is useful in potion making.

    DeathVine -> Hostile Block that appears as a red vine. Touching it causes one heart of health. It grows quickly and aggressively both vertically and horizontally. Must be burnt away. Dangerous for wooden houses.
