It looks great for your first ever skin! I'd recommend working on the shading though. It looks sort of grainy. Think about a light source and go from there (usually above in the case of Minecraft skins). After all, you can only put so much detail into pixels! You'll get better, I know it!

I like it! However, I can't think of any use for the TNT cannon unless you're on a PvP server, in which case you can build this house (or just the cannon) quickly to destroy someone's base.
The TNT cannon doesn't have too many uses in PvE survival, so do you think the cannon could be replaced with chests?

hey i just figured out how to make a wither skull farm! i noticed that wither skeletons need 3 blocks high to walk so i put a 3x1 row of cobble(assuming the corridoor is 3x3) at the ceiling of the fortress corridors so that the space to get across is only 2 blocks high. do this towards the 4 directions of every intersection and then remove the torches. when a wither skeleton appear just run towards the nearest intersection or row of cobble you put in the corridoor ceiling, stand behind it and hack them to death in safety.
