I read through some pages. So he wants or wanted to copyright ''scrolls'' for everything wow...That's just pure and plain extreme ambition.Thought that Notch was more of a humble guy..
I think that the answer to all this is simple:
Notch wants to make a new Pokemon, or at least try.
Look at the Pokemon series. It has cards, a game, clothing, and even a TV series. I think Notch is trying to do just that in the long run. So he doesn't really care what the name is, as long as he has all the rights to it.

I mean not to hurt you; but to show you the truth.
No matter how large of a wall of text you write, it doesn't change the fact of inactivity.

*Sigh*
I'll be in, I guess...
And for a server host; just rent one.

SecretAgentGuy; I hate to admit it, but your time is up. You no longer possess the skills or abilities to stay leader of UnderEarth for much longer. By lack of skills and abilities; I mean the skill and ability to stay active on the server. You are barely ever on; you have absolutely no effect on what happens on the server whatsoever overall. It's as if you only want to be leader of UnderEarth for the title and glory.
We aren't your slaves to do all the work for you; just sitting on your 'throne' casting commands. You do literally nothing to help the server go forward. And even worse; your most recent forum posts are applications to other servers. Either forfeit all other projects and get back on the server or just leave. Stop complaining about 'not having any control over the server anymore' and it 'going the wrong direction'. If anyone's fault; its yours. To run a server; you have to be on the server. Which you aren't. Ever. And whenever someone calls you out on this you log in for a few minutes and just leave again. It's almost just insulting all our hard work.
I don't want you to reply to this. What you say doesn't matter at all. It's what you do that matters. And lately; you haven't done anything at all since the opening of the server. Being active doesn't mean a few minutes a week. It doesn't mean a half an hour on the weekend early in the morning. Activity means being on every single day to help and grow the server. As long as possible every day all week, as much as you can. And if what you're giving is all you can give; I don't think you're up to being the 'leader' of a server.

IGN:
Age, (12 or above is preferred): 13
Role/Position: Terraformer (I am good with worldguard/voxelsniperish things) or redstone builder (I have a good knowledge of redstone). Or a tribute.
Why you would be good for this role: I am extremely active and I love terraforming and/or making redstone machines. I also loved the Hunger Games series, it's one of my favorite books of all time. I do believe I could add to the team with my skills, plus I have a skype.
As for the tribute bit; I am a fair PvPer and an excellent roleplayer who can follow realistic rules well. I wouldn't care which district I would represent.

Step 1: Be MUCH more active on the server. (At LEAST a half an hour per day on weekdays, more on the weekends).
Step 2: Be MUCH more active on forum.theunderearth.com
There you go.
Also;
It appears I've been demoted temporarily to homeless and will likely have my admin rank stripped for a bit (Don't rage secret! It's my fault for carelessness!).
EDIT: I have been re-admined.

My personal favorite coding language is Scheme, but for a PC MMORPG your best bet would be using a form of C or Java. Also, by 'Shooter MMORPG' I think you mean MMOFPS.
Mac OS and iOS are coded in Objective C, Windows are programmed in C, C++, and C#, most MMORPGs are coded in varients of C (Such as Rift and WoW, but EVE Online I think was done in Python, which is another one of my favorites). The game engine for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas was in C and/or C++. So there is no best choice for the job, though C and related programming languages are the most commonly used (That means C, C++, C#, or Objective C. Most programming languages, including Java, are C-based).
You also don't necessarily have to have an entire game programmed in a single language.
Now, I have always loved MMORPGs and the Fallout franchise. What do you get when you combine the two...?
Shooter MMORPG!
An MMORPG based on the Bethesda HUD and playstyle for their games like Fallout: 3 and Oblivion would be successful in my opinion.
A post-apocalyptic game with a twist is probably your best bet for anything. A spin-off of UnderEarth surface-life anyone...?

But in all seriousness, we have had an UE podcast and a few videos up. Go to UnderEarthNews or Islanderon's YouTube Channel. You could also go to theunderearth.com and click on the big 'podcast' button.
We make one or two every weekend late in the night and then some unscheduled ones randomly.
