What is an underrated CTM map (i.e not mentioned often) that you feel is amazing.
(ok first off i hate the quote system on this forum)
Now as to your question: While neither was underrated at the time of its release, it seems like both Rugged Horizons and To Greener Pastures are overlooked today. I'm not entirely sure if you can even download them now, as i think both use fileswap links, all of which no longer work. Still if you ever find either of them they are well worth your time!
I just gotta....
I'm gonna play it.

I made a thing guys
Things that still need to be added to this area: Structures, at least one more bridge, light, a couple more staircases, a way into the next half of the area
Friendly reminder this area is supposed to look artificial.
The titular timeframe set by the infamous Draco_Rogue is sometime in late 2039, a risky move that could put it on store shelves the same weekend as Half-Life 3, Dwarf Fortress (for Oculus Rift) and Septum Immoriel.

What are CTM maps?
CTM maps are a kind of custom map pioneered by Vechs, centered around Completing The Monument. They are known to have unique and hostile terrain, deadly and effective use of mobs, and present difficult challenges to even the most seasoned of Minecraft players.
What should I post in this thread?
Anything CTM-related goes! Celebrating completing a map, announcements about a map you, or someone you know, has just released, pictures for an upcoming map that you're working on, or just general conversation with others who love CTM maps.
Can I please be a part of the joint-account?
We are currently not looking for any new admins.
In this section we will showcase the CTM of the Month. The map will be chosen by our community based on gameplay aesthetics or unique properties that make the map worth playing.

Septum Immoriel is a unique Complete the Monument series, with currently one released Minimap. The series will feature at least one full map and at least two more minimaps.
VIGILIS OCULOS, my first Minimap is now available to download! This release does require 1.7.X to play! Please scroll down to the Minimaps section to download!
01 - Septum Immoriel
Map Type: Linear-Branching
Difficulty: ROMHack Hard
Number of Objectives: 21
Expected Release: 2016
The Lands of Immoriel await your coming. The Palamock laughs at your futility. You are watched, and the world is over.
Septum Immoriel is a unique and massive CTM map, designed to not only be extremely difficult, but also be unlike any other CTM map you've ever played, featuring unique custom mobs, beautiful terrain, a fully realized story, special triggered events, and a unique Custom Potion feature, allowing players to create brand-new potions using unique ingredients. The map has been over 4 years in the making this far, and continues to grow and change by the day! The map's fully fleshed out story and unique and continuous landscape and story will help make the map feel connected and alive like no other.
This map is being developed by myself with assistance from members of the CTM community! Huge thanks to everyone who has dedicated time, blood, sweat, and tears to helping make this map as amazing as possible! This map would not be possible without the building assistance, designs, and massive assistance of a ton of people - this truly has been a community effort. Full credit list will be included upon map's completion.
Now, here's some images to get you excited for the map!
More below the spoiler:
The map features 4 Intersections, but also a Dungeon-style setup. You move through the map as a linear branching map, but within each area will be at least one Dungeon, which will often contain a wool, but will not always do so.
I also will use an expanded Victory Monument. Not only does the player need the normal Wool and the Iron, Gold, and Diamond blocks, but an Emerald block and Redstone block as well, bringing the objective count to 21.

This is my first CTM map, and your introduction to the world of Dreadsky and the "Tales of Dreadsky" series. The difficulty ranges from Easy to Medium, but depending on how you play certain areas (rushing, planning ahead, exploring, etc.,) it can be very difficult.
SMP's Revival Pictures:
(This is my preferred texture pack, and also the one I think this map looks the best in. It is not required to enjoy the map, but I highly recommend using this texture pack, even if you don't use it while playing the map. It can be found and downloaded here.)
Dreadsky Depths is canceled. It was originally going to be a 5-intersection map taking place underneath the cataclysm-torn ocean of Dreadsky. My interest in the project wavered over time, and although I tried a few times to revive and complete it, in the end, I decided to stop working on it.
SMP's Revival Pictures:
Dreadsky Heavens is canceled as well.
BOSSCRAFT 2 HAS BEEN RELEASED:
BOSSCRAFT 2 THREAD
Mummies will Spawn in Desert Biomes in small Groups. They behave like Zombies and are wielding a stone Sword. They're pretty slow and don't do anything special.
Rogues are faster than normal Mobs and are wielding Iron Knifes. They spawn in small Groups in Forest and Plain Biomes.
In Mountain Biomes you can find these small Blocks, jumping around in the air and creating an explosion when they jump. They can jump up to 15 blocks and spawn usually alone.
In Caves, you can find these Fire Spiders. They can only spawn in Darkness, and only in caves. They spawn normally alone.
In the Nether, you rarely find one of these Fire Soldiers. They are pretty big and drop Nether Orbs.
At Nighttime, you'll find these Wraiths. Once attacked, they'll disappear and you can only see their eyes! They drop Necro orbs when killed!
These Scrolls have to be crafted to summon the chosen Biome Boss.
All normal Mobs drop specific orbs. For Example Mummies drop Desert Orbs. If you collect enough orbs, you can break the scroll by right-clicking it. (20 Uses) Then the Biome Boss will Spawn!
The Spider Queen is a giant spider, that creates cobwebs on the ground. She'll randomly spawn normal spiders or cave spiders. She's less gravity affected, than the Player.
The Fire Lord is a Giant Fire Soldier with 2 Fire Swords. He'll spawn normal Fire Soldiers, when he's on low HP and creates fire on the ground.
The Grim Reaper is a skeleton-like Mob, that will wield a Midnight Scythe. Sometimes, he'll shoot tons of Darkness Balls at you!
A Ranged Mage Weapon that will shoot Fireballs!
If you hit Monsters or Animals with the Ultimate Hammer, they'll get pushed up in the air. If you right-klick the Ulimate Hammer you'll get pushed up in the air.
The Fire Sword is an unbreakable, but low damage Sword. It sets Mobs on fire and when it's on full Durability you can spawn the Magma God. He'll help you fighting against other Mobs for a certain time.
After the "special attack" the Durability is pretty low, but if you attack Mobs it'll regenerate again.
With the Fire Sword, you can summon this Magma God. He'll drop tons of orbs, that'll create fire on the ground.
With the Rogues Knife, you can summon a huge arrow Rain. Many arrows will fall down and kill all Mobs nearby.
The Midnight Scythe only has 8 durability. Every hit on a mob will heal you 1 Heart, but to repair it (rightclick) you have to suffer 4 Hearts yourself.
The Hellstone Armor can be obtained by killing the Fire Lord. Each kill will give you 1 random piece of this epic Armour set. Full Set will make you immune to Fire!
The Boots of Lightness have a 33% chance to be dropped by the Grim Reaper! If you wear them you can jump up super high and you are faster in air. While falling down, you just glide slowly to the ground. You'll never get fall damage.
These Boots can be obtained by killing the Rogue Master. You can run twice as fast as usual and you'll leave a track of fire behind you.
With these Rocket Boots you are the Hero of the Sky. You can travel up to six times faster than normal and fly up high in the air without fall damage. However after a short time you have to land to fly up again. These boots can be obtained by the Mega Block with a 20% chance.
"Anima" would have been a cool name actually. I've never watched/played the map you're all talking about though, so I have no idea if it makes sense though...
Basically, Anima refers to the more "feminine" part of one's psychological being. It is said to be the part that is directed more inwards and is in connection with your subconscious. It is the opposite of one's "animus", which is the more masculine side and the part that deals with outwards appearance and actions.
Just though it might be interesting for you guys to know what you were all talking about.
