Records shouldn't be crafted, imo. The whole big thing about someone who has 50 records is that that person can say "That's right, I hunted the **** out of those creepers and skeletons." Or that they invedit stuff in. Regardless, records should continue to be something that you have to have a bit of luck and skill to get.
lol if you even view soccer as a real sport on the same level of competition as football. it may be the most popular game played in the world, but thats alright, because 90 percent of this world is composed of pussies anyway.
no contact no sport. thats as far as im taking it. lol
Ever tried playing goalkeeper? Got a real world championship? Part of the Olympics? Play every minute of every game? Use your feet to play? You can't seriously think you can tell me an American "football" player could ever challenge the overall skill, fitness, stamina, and respect of anyone in a FIFA-sanctioned league. Anyone can run six seconds and then take a forty second breather; it takes a real athlete to run nonstop for an hour and a half with only one break.
Wanna say you play a real sport that uses an egg-shaped ball? Play rugby. Let's see how long you last without your precious pads.
No offense, though. Seriously, don't bash the Beautiful Game. The only people who do are the ones who don't have what it takes to play it.
Iron, until my Gold stockpiles are large enough that I can use Gold Pickaxes reliably, while having an iron (or diamond) pick on hand for anything that requires it. Gold tools break faster than any other type. Large stockpiles.
Modloader crashes with some mods. Not a good idea.
And btw:
Notch will never add mods to mc (with one exception, Better light)
Beds were a mod, wolves could loosely be considered a mod (Mo' Creatures). Notch doesn't like putting mods into official software, but if the idea works he certainly considers (and then mulls it over for a week and tells Jens to do it whilst he flies around the world having dinner with millionares(Oh ho ho)).
Found a bug that's rather annoying. I scooped up some lava to play around with, and I though it would be fun to set some sheep aflame, so I dumped it on the ground. I took it back into the bucket afterward, however, only some of the lava disappeared and the rest remained, flowing as if it were coming from somewhere...
Not a bug. Lava goes away much slower than water does, it's always been like that.
Couldn't see this anywhere, so I'll post it here. My redstone torches are burning out incredibly fast. I did some basic testing and even 25-clocks will burn out eventually.
What do you mean by "burn out"?___
like does it go like: ------------>
= clock = fire
In redstone terms, burning out is when a torch receives power too quickly, and shuts down, not sending out a signal. Similar to a lightbulb burning out IRL. Another issue I just noticed is that a torch that burns out will forever be burned out in that spot, regardless of input direction, time after burnout or even putting a new torch down.

This is a glorified version of the generator I use.
The water currents leading out push you three blocks away, close enough to mine the block without breaking behind it, while also bringing mined stone to you.
From bottom to top, the one I use in my single player worlds looks like
First level, would be the ground that you build the thing on:
The water is just a channel you would dig for the water to flow under the cobblestone that forms when the water and lava meet. Sit in the end of this, aim in the direction of the block to be broken, and mine. Can be used with a taped mouse button or what have you.
Second level:

Third Level:

Cobblestone is the block that you would break.
A bonus is that you can move this into a corner somewhere.
I just realized that the new water physics make this damn near impossible to jump out of. Just pop a pressure plate in the end of the current.

2147m is right. If it were 2147b it would end up being 2,147,483,648,000.
Either use 2.147b or 2147m.
I just put those 0's on the end to prove a point, I don't know what the entire number would be.
