I wanted to announce a new horror map that is in the making. I'm the creator of Imprisonment, the horror map inspired by Evil Within and various other horror games. You can find Imprisonment by searching for Imprisonment on Google. I don't want to fill this thread with links from a previous project.
The new map is called Sepultura.
Not sure how to word what the map will be about, but it will be a multi-ending multiplayer/single player horror map. You'll be able to enjoy the single player experience, while also being able to play it with a friend, with no spoilers! Two different horror maps in one, with a similar story.
The map is inspired by Dead Space 3, Evil Within, Silent Hill, FNAF, and various other mind boggling horror games. One major inspiration is Dead Space 3, the multiplayer moment. The moment where you begin to see things the other player doesn't. This will become a major point in this horror map. In multiplayer, you and your partner will have to describe what they are seeing in order to unlock the secrets to reach the various endings throughout the story. The map between single and multiplayer, will have a total of EIGHT endings. One Ultimate Bad Ending, One Ultimate Good Ending, and everything in between. Progress pics, updates, and thoughts will be posted here.

I am trying to create a multiplayer horror map. I know it's possible to have 2 players do two different things in 2 different sections without one affecting the other, but I'm not sure how to set that up.
My vision was to have the players start in a room, and they select player 1 or player 2. Player 1 would go to a castle, and player 2 would go to a barn. If player 2 gets an item from a command block, or teleports somewhere, it won't give player 1 an item and TP him as well. How do I set this up? What is the coding and set up? Thanks!
So far, I'm fixing alot of this. I noticed the doors. They are grabbed.
As far as the system for determining the endings, yes. Make a new game. That's how I designed it. This was originally a video game idea but couldn't make it that way. I am working on fixing the couple of levers, such as the one in the clothing shop. I am putting "I turned the lights off, and left to my b______s house." I think I'll put a jingle to tell you when to look for the secrets. Although I like it being in a weird spot. Alot of regular horror games have them hidden in spots you've checked originally. I'm working on fixing some of these things. Thank you for helping me with this
Also, relating to the hidden objects and the endings. Yes, there may not be a message or something telling you, "Hey! Stuff has changed," but in Silent Hill 4: The Room, there wasn't any indication for what to do with certain objects. I remember in that game we got a candle, and it wasn't until later we understood what to do with it.
Like I said: I'll look into some of these things and tweek them. Alot of people seem to be enjoying it
Thank you for all this! Wasn't sure how to get the janitors stuff to work. I figured people would search every nook and cranny before trying to stairs. I will go through and fix some of these things. As far as brick wall behind doors. Sometimes I used a black block because having a room there wouldn't make sense. Also, the secrets. Yes, the key inside the container: you're coming back. So it's possible for things to be different, and that key goes to the door with the murder document. I didn't know how fast to make the dialogue in the costume shop, so when you turn the lever off, it teleport's you. I'll look at the rest of this and see what I can do.
As far as the secrets There is a total of six. I figured the first time around, you would play and the second time around would be when you find all the secrets. That's what alot of people do. In fact this map is inspired by Silent Hill 4: The Room where you revisited the same 3 areas and had to do different things to unlock the secrets. DM me what secrets you found. I'll tell you which one is missing. What ending did you get?
One last thing, the iron door in the droppers in the bathrooms, I couldn't find a thin wall. They are the walls separating the urinals.
It's finished! Ladies and gentlemen the map is DONE!!! It is being uploaded to Minecraft Maps pretty soon. I already submitted it, and had a few people play test it. They all gave it 5 star ratings. Who's ready!? I link will be above as soon as it is posted!

As far as textures. I have a few I need help with. Want me to send you the small list?
I am actually not sure what I wanted textured now. I know I wanted little droplets of blood, and the redstone signal to actually look like old busted wiring.

This map is taking FOR-EV-ER to finish. It's mainly at this point alot of redstone work. I still have one last major structure, a few mini ones, and redstone stuff. After that I will have a few play testers play it and test it out fix all the kinks little things, and it will be posted. I AM working on it. It's just taking a while between work, my youtube channel, and school. I don't plan on giving you guys another update until it's finished. So be aware, the next time I update this thread, the map will be done.

There is a few major parts to build in this map. One of them is done. The redstone and those last few structures are going to be hardest and longest to create. Sorry for the wait guys. Atleast you get epic questions and images to see how it's coming out.

Made alot more progress on the map yesterday! It's going to be a good one. I am not good at textures, so there won't be a custom texture pack. However I am all about story and secrets, and finding hidden details. There is alot going into this map. For a Minecraft map, this will seem like a video game.
