I actually don't know because I'm playing on a nearly 7-year-old SMP server and I don't know when my area was first loaded. However it's fine as I'm starting to think a 1x1 chunk is actually the best (according to gnembon, almighty god of farms).

Jun 24, 2020Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
Hello modders of Minecraft Forums,
I have been searching all over for a mod that shows you the optimal placement for a torch when lighting up caves, so for example it might visually (client-side) replace the block you should place the torch on with a green block, and when you place the torches as suggested by the mod, you will have at least a light level of 8 so no mobs can spawn but you also use as few torches as possible.
I have no idea how commonly requests are honoured in this forum, but if anyone could very kindly make this for me, please can you make it for Fabric. Also I'm assuming it would automatically be compatible with all versions since the torch isn't getting changed from update to update, but if not then please make it for 1.16.1 (or whatever the latest version happens to be when you read this).
Thanks! Very much appreciated if somebody makes it!

execute as @e store result score @s y run data get entity @s Pos
I don't know if this is the case or not but wouldn't this store the value of the variable for all entities rather than all players?

I haven't really used functions before, do you need the file to be inside a folder inside the functions folder or can you just keep it 'loose' in the functions folder and call it simply with for example "tell_player_nether_roof" instead of "folderName:tell_player_nether_roof"?
Other than those two things I'm pretty sure I get it all, thank you very much!

Is it possible to run a command (such as /title <player> ...) the first time one of <player>'s co-ordinates is greater than a certain number in a certain dimension? For example, the first time the get to the Nether roof (y>127, dimension=Nether) I want a title command to run saying something like
Welcome to the Nether roof <player>! Please be considerate of others and spawnproof &levery block&l you place here (unless mobs are supposed to spawn there). Thanks!
This would run on a server so if you tell me how to code this as a plugin then I would really appreciate it.
