When I play on a high populated server it always kind of depresses me when I see things like people griefing and/ or stealing. I've been playing on and off since Beta 1.3, but I've really gotten much more into it since about 1.8.

Well, first off. After 5 people got whitelisted I said I was going to "Go harder on people", so yes.
You could have added a lot more information in your application, same goes with everyone that has applied.
But, I have been thinking about what I want to do with the server. First off I was going to add more player slots to the server, second I am adding Plug-Ins at the moment for administration purposes. Such as MCBans (Global Banning System), and I have added Essentials for my use only and quicker access to homes and spawn, so we all don't have to go looking for our houses and get lost or worse killed. But as I said I will only be using these plug-ins, there will be NO other OP's or Admins or whatever. Anyways to get to the point.

One would hope that every Minecraft player abide by these simple rules. Some will not, but I shall. I have my own code of honor in games, It generally boils down to "Don't be a douche." I'll continue to follow that code on this server.

As I said I was going to go harsh after 5 people applied and got accepted, well I am now.

But on you I will not, because this is a great application, tells me a lot of detail about you and what you like.

And yes your friend did tell me he was going to ask you to apply and thank you for doing so.

P.S: Its not the best replica of the server, but I hope you can suffice for now until I get everything going on the server, such as the nether hub, which I am have some difficulties with. Might even have to delete the existing nether folder and make a new one so I can start new in the nether and have a "working" nether hub. If you know how to make it I would gladly listen while you teach me. And again thanks for applying we need more people in the server like you.

I will abide. I must ask though, what of Rei's Mini-Map? Would that be too much of an issue? If so, I suppose I'll just have to remove it.
