Why: I'm looking for a good, stable, pure vanilla, snapshot (or now prerelease) server. I'm starting to doubt the existence of such a server as the few that seem to promise this fall short in one way or another. I have a good feeling about this one, however. I've also seen a few MindCrack videos and believe I'd rather enjoy a server like that.

Experience: I played solo for several months after I purchased the game and began playing on servers over a year ago. I've played almost strictly survival servers and even gravitate towards those that are vanilla or close to it. I've started very few large-scale projects since buying the game (and finished even fewer, usually due to a server dying before it has finished... that seems to happen often), but have worked on decent smaller ones. I'm actually more of an explorer/power miner (and by power miner, I mean a burn through efficiency 5 picks -- thanks to the new anvils -- and chug speed potions while blasting death metal power miner), so I should be an excellent player to trade with once I've established my supplies. Also, I noticed others like to include experience with redstone, so I suppose I'll do the same. I actually really don't work with redstone much (my redstone is primarily used for those speed potions I mentioned), but I certainly have the general knowledge of boolean logic to work on fairly complicated redstone projects if need be.

Yeah, except you are making so many false and outright dumb claims it's not even funny- if you have no clue, don't post.

A 4 year old machine without dedicated graphics is not considered good- no wonder you can hardly run Minecraft.

Also, Minecraft takes literally .5 GBs of RAM max to run on any computer, slightly more if tekkit.
