Okay I know that I'm doing everything right but when I go to use the mod it still doesn't work. Is there a mod that isn't compatible with it? I use SPC, Zombe, and TooManyItems and thats it nothing else I wouldn't think that those would clash with this mod. Can someone please give me a step by step guide as to how to install the Mod please?

I read the OP but when I go to use the craft it won't do anyting. I have changed all of the configuration keys so that they are what i want them to be but the craft still doesn't move. At all. Also the top, front, and back of the controller blocks are gone, not missing but invisible. I have installed ModLoader. Frankly I don't think that the "instructions" you put on your original post are good enough because they don't hightlight what you really have to do. And If you tell me rp.class then explain what i have to do, don't just put "rp.class"

    Quote from BrightsideRy

Alllllrighty then. I played a fair bit of this in 1.7. I suppose I'll throw my two cents in.

What hit me first, like a tonne of bricks, was how strikingly similar the Aether was to the surface world. It was, in a nutshell, the surface, floating in the form of several islands with a bunch of funny lookin' mobs hanging around with a pallete swap. Flyin' pigs were amusing... For five minutes.

After a while, I traveled around trying not to be pushed off the world by beings whos main directive was to **** people off. Then I crafted some wood- Sorry, SKYROOT tools and began to gather resources. Aside from the tools having a sparkly extra effect compared to their Overworld counterparts, I appreciate the effort the creators went to when considering these ideas, but I can't help but feel the concept of even these small things were a lil' bit lazy. The tools of the Aether, composed of Skyroot, Holystone, Zanite and Gravitite are simply reskinned wood, stone, iron and diamond tools respectively, odd effects aside. With saying that, I'll now brace for the warcries of "ITS NOT THE SAME, NOOB," but what you should keep in mind is this; They're the same as the Overworld's tools. With sparkly extra effects. And they're much easier to obtain. Oh, and you've got Ambrosium, which I have dubbed "Magic coal". Really now.

My wanderings eventually brought me into a dungeon. After a few tries, I managed to defeat a miner's nightmare, a flying stone block that face-tackles you. My efforts, were as I expected, rewarded. And from the chest rose the smallest glint of originality. Weaponry that was actually unique. This fixed up some suprise, with due consideration for the pallette swapped tools (with special effects! To those tempted to ragesmash their keyboard) and blocks earlier. The weapons were suprisingly useful. So for this one, I'll chalk it up as a good point.

Mobs, mobs, mobs... Honestly. Flying cows and puffed-up sheep? Come on, really? Sorry, gimme a second here... *Starts headbanging on desk, repeatedly muttering "Why"*... Huh. Carrying on. This is another point I raised earlier. Mobs that are on the Overworld, but reskinned, the only difference being their adaptation to a world that floats above all. "Oh! But you got plants and birds that shoot stuff!" calls the crowd. Yeah... But the plants and the whirlwinds are the only new things, in a realistic sense. Think of the Dart-spewing megachickens as our loveable Skeleton, or the Snowball-happy cloud as a more annoying Ghast. Ever played Worms? You know the "poke" weapon on that, where they push you juuuust off the edge. Imagine that, but happening every few seconds. Sucks, doesn't it? And their likeness to Ghasts are within the fact that they're annoying to dispose of. Flying mobs that fire projectiles with screwing you over in mind. The things which I shall call "Megachickens" serve almost the same purpose as our Overworld fowl, albiet, rideable. I could go into these details all day, but I've alot of nothing to do. To sum up mobs: Nearly the same, but not quite.

So! Who loves to summarise? I sure do. Well, here we are: The Aether, a world like normal Minecraft, floating in the sky with many blocks, tools and mobs the same as the regular world's... But different.

Oh I'm sorry i don't see you making something like this. Until you can make something as good as this then you have no room to complain like this. When you learn to compress your complaints into a single sentence. Now this is one of the best mods i've seen out there. Unique in every way. All of those things couldn't be just re-textured because then they would have the same name in the game. They have unique names unique uses and unique features. Now when you actually put a mod up that is as great as this then give me a call and i'll let you know if it is as good as this increadible piece of programming. So when you start another topic besided colored wool and actually make a mod then you can start complaining like this. There wasn't one thing that was a compliment towards this mod. When you learn that this is great then come back here. Thank You and have a good day;.

Hey ummmm i have a really important question. Why did you decide to not make this compatible with shockahpi 5 or 6 because now i can't have any of my other mods with this because none of them work with this mod. For example clay soldiers and Better than wolves, even zombe's fly mod doesn't work with this and i was wondering why you decided to do this. Its really affecting my playing experience not having any of those mods that i loved so much. Please can you make it compatible with shockahpi 5 or 6 again please. I really want to fly normally and have little men fight each other then watch a wolf become a wool block.
