Oh my, $2,000 MAX? Buy ANYTHING. I personally recommend -not- shilling out for Alienware, but that's just a personal grudge as I don't like the fact that the little logo costs around $500 depending on the model.
I would appreciate an enchant for a bow that increased drawback speed, to help you do rapid fire with a bow, there are three levels, one slightly increases drawback speed, two moderately increases it, three greatly increases it. This probably needs more details but I am kinda lazy.
I appreciate the sheer amount of time you put in to making suggestions, the only problem is the time is spread too thin. Spend more time per one suggestion, make it fully developed and DETAILED. One hundred suggestions with nothing in terms of details are worth nothing compared one, fully formed and detail suggestion.
That being said, on topic here, I really don't feel like there's much balance here. I see this quickly leading to someone ahving a power 3 drawback 3 bow which will destroy everything in it's path... Maybe with some DETAIL on the idea would make it more balanced?
There are all kinds of game types you can play, especially if you find a modpack with Hardcore Questing Mode installed. I personally suggest Agrarian Skys II, it's a skyblock game with a modded twist, and it comes with a handy quest system to keep you busy.
As long as we're giving suggestions, I use Nodecraft. It may be a tad more expensive than VPS or others, settling at $20 a month for a 2 gigabyte, unlimited slot server which has an easy to use interface to do litterally everything you've ased (I.e. add plugins, have 30 players, new IP, even all within a single website-based dashboard which runs smoothly, with no lag) and more so ever, including being able to load in mod packs should you so wish.
I uhm... Well, Shaders and 512x resource packs are both insanely heavy on GPU and CPU... But both? Pfft. Even the best computer out there will struggle...
There's not really anything anyone can do if you're not willing to pay... for this kind of server you would have to spend at most $20 a month for hosting.

"Any hack counts; speed, waterwalking, killaura, fly, anti-knockback, toggles of any kind, x-ray etc."

Yeah, erm yes. I used fly in a server. But the thing is I used it because it was a VIP benefit, it's not like I cheated to get it.

Honestly that is true, but "building" laptops is a lot more of a pain than building desktops...

Chances are it's a plugin to reduce lag. The owner might not even know if it's installed, as it's part of a few popular plugins

This is mostly likely the direct reason why that was removed, to be honest.

I don't know how well it's going to run as long as you're using shaders. All times I've used them in the past they've burnt out my GPU's will to live.

Well, you know. If he runs 12 m/ps at his record speed, his record -minecraft- speed would be... 12 blocks per second.

I mean, $20 a month isn't alot if you have an income like I do, but if you're running on a lower budget you can run one for $10 or even $5 monthly
