I see you've made this post nearly a year ago, but SimpleScreenRecorder (don't be fooled by the name. It means simple to use, not simple functions. It's quite advanced actually) might be what you're looking for. It had OpenGL recording like Fraps and Bandicam so it can record Minecraft directly, and You can record the sound from Minecraft using the instructions from the site (http://www.maartenbaert.be/simplescreenrecorder/recording-game-audio/). The developer adds things quite often and has the source-code on GitHub: https://github.com/MaartenBaert/ssr.
Glad to see you've found a workaround to your problem, but here's a quick rundown of how to get help faster next time you have a problem:
1. As ThoughtonGraphics said, post in the right section. This section is the technical help for videos section. That means you'll find two main groups of people here: those requiring technical help with their computers and those who know how to help with technical things in making videos. Your problem is more related to your computer and the game in general, so, although you might find someone who can help you in here, you'll have more luck in a more relevant section.
2. Describe your problem. You're problem seems quite simple and you've described most of it, but there's more you can add. Does the right-click not work everywhere? does it not work in Minecraft only? This leads me to my next point...
3. Give information. What Operating System are you using? (e.g. Windows 7 SP 2 64-bit, OS X 10.9 "Mavericks", Linux Mint 15 "Olivia" Cinnamon 64-bit) You don't always need to be too detailed, but it's good to put what you know if it's relevant.
If it's a problem with the game:
What version are you using (e.g. 1.7.2)?
What version of java do you have?
Do you have any mods?
Are you using a different launcher from the one from minecraft.net?
Since your problem is to do with the mouse, it might be hardware related. Giving the model and brand of your hardware is useful to those who want to help you.
4. Have a descriptive title. "Help Minecraft Experts!" tells me nothing about your problem. A better title would have been something like "Right-click not working".
5. Try your best with grammar and spelling. The chances of someone viewing your post is drastically reduced if the first thing people read is "Help me ppllllzzz!!!!!!!!!!111!!! I wan 2 ply MinceRatf!". You've done this quite well. Re-reading your post can really help.
6. Be polite. No one wants to help a stingy person. You've mostly done this. Just note that TroughtonGraphics just wanted to point out that you posted it in the wrong section. No, it doesn't solve you're problem, but it's a good thing to know since posting in the right section is rather important in getting help.
As for your problem, changing the controls is alright as a workaround (it's not actually fixing the problem though), and if you're happy with it then it shouldn't matter too much, but it's better to actually fix it instead of going around it. Are you using a Mac? In that case, Ctrl+Click is the equivalent of right click if I remember right.
I don't think you guys understand what he is saying. Touchscreen controls do not let you walk using the tablet, but just use the inventory with it. He's suggesting they add movement, fighting, etc.
This is actually quite true. Touchscreen controls only make it so that have to click/touch and drag an item from 1 slot to another (i.e. hold down to pick up, and releasing to drop). It does not let you move, look around or type in the chat using just the touchscreen (it just streamlines inventories for those on a touchscreen).
I'm sure touchscreen controls would be very much appreciated by those with touchscreens. Support.
I fish until I get a good wheat farm going. After that, I farm cows and mainly use steaks as food.
Things seem slow at first, but if you plant the wheat right (refer to this wiki page for more: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Wheat_farming), you can get wheat growing in 1-2 Minecraft days. I fish, or eat rotten flesh whilst replanting all seeds, and I eventually end up with a stack of wheat every two days (at which point I stop). After getting a surplus of wheat and seeds, I farm chickens, cows, sheep and pigs. Once again, this takes a bit of time (during which you should have a different reliable source of food), but when you have around 20 of an animal, you can keep it self sustaining by feeding them all wheat and killing half of them (which gives you enough food for a few days). After that, I farm carrots (and subsequently, pigs), potatoes and aim to get every single crop in my base.
Unless you can't install programs (not likely if you're going to run this program and run a server), get 7zip. It works with .rar, .7z (one of the best formats out there) as well heaps of other formats.
Hi there! You should add SimpleScreenRecorder to the "Screen Capturing Programs" section. It's a GUI program for Linux (no Windows/Mac) that can record OpenGL like Bandicam and Fraps (meaning you don't end up with the window border or anything). Here's me testing out the program: (the video itself is quite boring, but it looks great!).
Edit: Also consider adding Openshot, which I used to edit the video in the link. Actually, it might be better to leave out Openshot since it can be really unstable and crash a lot for many people (I was just lucky when I made my video).
I dies whilst making a cobble generator in the basement of my base... with a water elevator 1 block away from me. Luckily, the water saved everything except an iron pick.
Completely transparent pixels are made black unless they are part of the "hat" region of the skin. This is to avoid grief and abuse from people using completely invisible skins.
The middle one (x), I don't have on my keyboard, but I'm pretty sure it's French, with a carat above it.
Yes, according to Wikipedia, it's French. French is not one of the languages I speak though, so I wasn't sure.
But yes, those are I's. Some languages use an incredible amount of vowels.
ETA: Also, I fell compelled to point out that the two As you've mentioned are Ä and Å. I thought Å was at the top, but that one actually appears to be Ȧ, after doing some testing of my own. The default font is really unkind to any language that isn't English, which is unfortunate. And odd, given this is a Swedish game.
Thanks for such a quick reply. Turns out the ones I made before already look like i's, so I don't really have to change them.
I actually thought that the letters with the o on top (e.g. Å like you said were letters with the upward curve or circumflex above them like Ȃ or Â) The limited amount of pixels (8x8 per letter) makes it quite difficult to properly represent each letter, so it's not surprising that. I've just realised that I could have found out myself by copy-pasting it into Minecraft, but I appreciate the help.
In the ascii.png file (the one with the font) for Minecraft 1.7.2, there are three letters that are just a vertical line with some markings above them (double dots etc.) They are on the right-hand side, near the middle, just before Ă and Ȧ. The problem is, I'm not sure whether they are uppercase i's (eye) or lowercase l's (elle). Does anyone know what they are meant to be?
