Anyone have an issue where minions/pets can't deal damage to other mobs?

Looking to play vanilla survival but want more from the typical experience? Playing alone can get boring fast, and the late-game can also get boring with that diamond armor being too much for mobs. No problem, we've got you covered! Our server aims to add features to shove aside the boredom that often comes with a pure vanilla survival world. Slaying the Wither is hardly the end of it.

Welcome to Survival+, a community-based server where we play semi-vanilla survival, mini games, and just have fun! Having people from Alaska all the way to Denmark, we welcome all honest and mature players. We promote a relaxing environment, so there are no concerns when it comes to griefing, trolling, etc. We have about 7 regulars on the server.

No skill sets are required to join; we welcome new and experienced players, and just about anyone really! Our gameplay is virtually Vanilla, along with the options to play mini games (more below). We add features that stay true to the vanilla survival spirit. Here's some screenshots of our world:

Here's some of our additional features to survival that we personally have enjoyed a lot, and hope that you will too.

Dungeons: Need more challenging mobs to fight? Our dungeons have you covered! Fight unique mobs and earn some fancy drops! Definitely not your ordinary mobs to deal with, diamond armor is usually recommended for these places.

mcMMO: Level up various skills like mining and swordsmanship, unlock abilities, and enjoy an RPG-esque system which can really spice up the way you gather materials or kill mobs.

Community towns & markets: Just as it says on the tin, our players have made towns, bases, and markets. Sell items, buy items, and trade!

Unlockable areas and ranks: Earn some ranks with perks such as XP boosts, unlock areas with handy utilities, and more!

Magic: You killed the Wither, now what? Magic is what comes next! Take that Nether Star to craft a wand, and start learning the Arcane Arts! The magic skill is only available late-game (and takes awhile to develop itself), so don't fret.

Yep, we mentioned minigames! Right now we have Sky Wars, MobArena, and PvP, with more on the way! Check our screenshots!

Our motto for rules is "Keep to common sense!", but to establish what exactly is/isn't allowed:

• No griefing, stealing, or any other harmful acts upon other players.
• No cheating, via use of mods, hacks, or the like.
• No advertising of other servers and various media.
• Keep profanity to a minimum, and be considerate of other players. Any profanity directed at others is not allowed.
• Do not be obnoxious and irritate others; if someone says you are disturbing them, then stop.
• Do not be offensive/toxic, we are here to have fun. Anything racist, homophobic, or any other derogatory language will get you muted, kicked, or banned.
• Abusing features (minigames, etc.) on our server is not allowed.
• Trying to sidestep around these rules is not allowed either!

Any violations of these rules will result in disciplinary action, depending on the severity of the violation.

My name is otis and iv played minecraft for a long long time! I haven't played the game for a very long time due to the fact that i haven't had a good friendly group to play it with so i hope this community might bring this for me so i can play the server all time time! Iv had multiple minecraft youtube channels some reaching up to 5.6k subscribers and recently iv just not enjoyed minecraft at all because i haven't had the time for it. So im hoping this server will allow me to have alot of fun with the game again and have some enjoyment from minecraft!

Hobbies / What do i do?: Currently hardcore fitness training all the time for the royal marines.
