This is the first release of the special rock replacement pack, a simple resource pack that replaces andesite, diorite and granite with blocks that i think are more pleasant to look at and build with.
Andesite is replaced with gritstone, a light brown sedimentary stone with a unique top texture, and polished andesite is replaced with gritstone bricks, which uses a unique angular pattern.
Granite is replaced with limestone, a yellowish flat stone, and polished granite is replaced with limestone bricks, a yellow version of stone bricks.
Diorite is replaced with shale, another sedimentary rock primarily using dark gray with blue undertones, utilizing randomized textures so it tiles better. Polished diorite is also replaced with shale bricks, which use randomized textures so every wall is different.
