    Speaking of killing avatars, is there a way to do it faster? With bunch of defensive sustains AND quad beacon bonuses AND Thaumcraftt shielding I can tank Avatar pretty good, but damaging it is very slow. ~6 hp per strike with 20 damage weapon and Strength II.


    EDIT: And no, Doom Bolts are not effective either.



    Avatars can kill other avatars pretty effectivly. Expecially if it's a warrior type.

    Yeah a lot of people don't realize what that means. There may be a few mechanics that don't cross over, and a lot of things that won't work in the same exact way as they used to. Then again, emoniph may decide to improve some things.

    Edit: I'm referring to the port to 1.8.9

    Yeah my ideal playing style is trickery. Witchery does not have any real options there :P


    A good (And doable) Ability would to teleport a small distance (Just a small blink), and leave a copy of you to confuse people. would be VERY disorientating to fight them like that. And unlike the duplication grenades, they actually would work on players for a bit

    I would prefer the kitsune to being like the werewolf, but based on trickery. Illusions are typically what kitsune are associated with. such as clones, invisibility, and disguising as players and things like that, but also being melee oriented. if it becomes a thing it should also not be a toggle, but u may be able to hide your tails (illusions).

    You use magic power (Maybe its own special infusion power?) To fuel your ability's.

    Kitsunes could possibly work. they already have a predefined method of progression from lore. (They gain tails as they grow in power)
