posted a message on Snapshot installation problem.
Today I wanted to install the new snapshot, but when I tried getting rid of the old jar to replace it a message came up and said that it can't do anything to minecraft.jar because it was already open.So I checked if Minecraft was open and it wasn't.Then I checked if the minecraft.jar was open in 7-zip,but it wasn't.What should I do??!!

The very first thing you should is update your Java. You are at 6.26 and they just released are four updates behind. It might not help, but you should at the very least be keeping Java up to date to prevent JRE bugs from happening.

The next thing to do is to delete your newest mod. Clearly the problem began after you installed it, so that would make it the troublemaker. I would download a fresh copy of Minecraft from the .net site, delete all of your Minecraft stuff except your save files (locate these to the desktop) and then place them back into the new .minecraft folder.

    Wow,updating Java worked!O.o
    Thanks so much!

Go to %appdata% and delete .minecraft

Now, open minecraft.exe and login and the game updates itself
you should be able to clean the mods and be able to open minecraft,

perhaps you should show the crash report.

Done, doesn't work. Also the crash report is on topic post.

    If you want Minecraft back,
Go to Minecraft.exe and go to options and click Force Update
That should wipe out the mods installed and make your minecraft work again.

    Doesn't work.D:

I just recently tried installing the mods "Timber!" when I already had the mod Mo'Creatures,WWII guns and Blood Mod.After following the instructions VERY carefully I installed, then my Minecraft crashed. It wasn't a normal crash,Oh no!My WHOLE Minecraft window would close.I would also get a notepad fil in my desktop saying:

I like the idea, but it should use durability where however many redstone you put into it would change its durability. Having it on would slowly reduce its durability.

It would be cool if glaring the light at animals will make them run away as if they were hurt, and glaring it at endermen would make them hostile, even if you weren't looking in their faces.

    Good suggestions!Thanks for the feedback!

After crafting that, you get an empty flashlight. Now,you have to get redstone, craft them together, and make a full flashlight.A full flashlight can stand 10 minutes of being on(it's only on when you have it selected).Once the energy is drained you have to craft it with redstone again.

Sooo.Do you guys thing i'm high?
