Please PM linkseyi your bug as he does not check the forum regularly.
GRRR I've been using this for ever made soooo many mods but there's a bug where every item and block i made is named the same thing as one of the things i made on linksey's mod maker version 0.134 and i've updated the mod maker for 0.140 and sadly there's no point coz I'm a minecraft cracked user and minecraft 1.6.2 is not available for cracked minecraft BOOOHOOOO IT SUCKS!!!
If you actually looked around and not complained here then you probably would've found out that on the first post you can download previous versions.
And plus if you love Minecraft that much then just fish out $25 and but the actual copy.
To do this, you would need to generate the mod and go into the textures folder. Then go into the block folder. Then edit the one that says BlockName_(Front,Top,Bottom,Ect.).png
Hope i helped
Woot! 3500th comment because the first post was not a comment
That means if you count the first post as a comment, I got the 3500th comment!
This is fantastic! I've already made a Lightsaber! (I think I did it right.) However, I can't figure out how to edit a block's top and bottom, all it shows is side.
Does this support both Modloader and Forge? Will the next update still be able to make mods for 1.5.2, because I'm not updating to 1.6.
It supports Modloader atm but in the 1.6 update it will only support Forge. And as for the other question, you can always download previous versions of the ModMaker to make 1.5.2 mods
im having an error where all the internal name is "item.null" and so all the names of the items are of the first item id chosen. the game does not crash but its weird all my items are named stone chunk
It is a bug in the current version of Linkeyi's ModMaker. Wait until the 1.6 release and it will be fixed.
Oh, whoops. Sorry, I'm new, so I don't excactly know how to make a private message. Anyway, the modeling is a bit hard, like how do I make a chicken model? Anyway, Thanks! Also, how do I make armor and tools? I mean, yea I know how, but how do I give them resistance values and duration and such. Sorry if I'm being a bit of a n00b.
If you are planning on making a mob and aren't very good with the Model Maker (like me), then you probably should just wait until the 1.6 update which will include all the Model presets and also a tutorial on the Model Maker.
Also to make your armour have values check out this tutorial here:
I found an issue with version 0.134. When I try to crate a mob, everything works except for the models option. is just shows one blak space. Could you fix it?
Before you posted this you should've read the post above yours that clearly states "Remember, if you have a problem you need to private message me. I will not be checking the forum regularly."
Anyway, you need to create your own models in the Model tab.
And also it won't hurt to look at the past few pages where this question has been asked and answered multiple times.
This is very good and all, BUT! when i go to make a mob i click mob type and there is nothing there, i click create it says (pick a mob type)
Im like? What mob type
MMmmmm everything is fine but that one part
im having no bugs what so ever but that one thing
No mob type why
Im thinking about you guys adding a new part of this modding
something that will let you add like this mob can fly this mod spawns underground this mob spawns in the neather.
like an option where it will spawn
Calm down. You need to make your own model in the Model tab.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to look back through the past couple of pages to find the answer to this commonly asked question.

Survival/Building
I've had Minecraft for about 17 months and wanted to try something new, and Turbocopter1567 showed me this server.
I agree to the rules.
Turbocopter1567 referred me to this server.
What is Tripwire made out of?: Just plain string, I think.
What's your favorite part about playing on a server or why you like playing Minecraft?: I like playing on small-ish servers like this because I like a good community.
Were you referred by anyone? (Optional): Well I saw a post by Glomp and I saw the signature.
Do you agree to abide by the Rules and the Building Guidelines?: Yep!

It only works for ModLoader atm but when this updates to 1.6 it will be compatible with FML.
