An obsidian forest could have been cool. Or certain caverns being extremely mineral rich, but having tons mob spawners underneath the floor of the cavern. Or villages where you could trade. Or... You get the idea. More cool things, so that it feels more like an survival challenge and less like a regular world.
Looks cool, I'm downloading. Could you give some info in the topic, though? All you say is begin your journey. List some unique features about the map. Spawn rates of ores, Special Landmarks, etc.

Your build-style: I love building into extreme hills biomes, because that way I can have exterior decoration, and I don't have to place every single block for interior decoration. (Half Etho-Style Man Cave/Half House)
Your play-style: I absolutely love building, though I often get distracted and do other things while building, so most of my builds are unfinished.
