I'm going to start off by explaining the first two.
In Deuteronomy 23:14 it says:
"For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you."
The reason the punishment for adultery is so severe is because he did not want the Israelites to be tainted by sin.
In The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20), adultery and fornication are forbidden. He makes the rules, and if someone breaks them-- shouldn't they be punished?
Why should we follow them? And no. They certainly should not be stoned to death.
John 8:1-11 illustrates how Jesus, God in the flesh, saved a woman who had adultered from being stoned to death. He did not condemn her, he showed her mercy.
Yes, that is a good example of how the Bible contradicts itself.

If a married person has sex with someone else's husband or wife, the Bible commands that both adulterers be stoned to death.
MARK 10:1-12
Divorce is strictly forbidden in both Testaments, as is remarriage of anyone who has been divorced.
LEVITICUS 18:19
The Bible forbids a married couple from having sexual intercourse during a woman's period. If they disobey, both shall be executed.
MARK 12:18-27
If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.
DEUTERONOMY 25:11-12
If a man gets into a fight with another man and his wife seeks to rescue her husband by grabbing the enemy's genitals, her hand shall be cut off and no pity shall be shown her.
I think in some threads, if the topic is extremely broad, one issue will be discussed, then it will go on to other things, for pages and pages, then eventually someone new will come in and bring it up again, not realizing it has already been discussed. Those are the threads that seem to go on the longest.
