Well that would be silly... I hoped for some kind of propulsion, not for gravity defying carts.
Carts should not be able to get back to the spot they were in the first place without any help.
Atm minecarts are just playthings, they'll be sure to get better, instead of saying what's bad about them, try pointing out what they could have instead.
Once you can ride those things with the next update... oh guys, you'll get into your mineshafts 200 times quicker. Now all we need are some kind of accelerators or hand pumps and we can back up too.
Now to go into your advantages and disadvantages seeing I haven't before;
- Multiplayer is far from being a truth, so don't worry about stealing and sabotaging. I bet minecraft will still be balanced after the Omega release.
- Nothing about the carts or tracks is too pricey, I'd say that it actually gives iron some use, instead of tools and armor.
- They don't work well on land, well no ****, they're just like trains, they don't work well on grass either, this shouldn't be changed.
- You build the tracks, you can stop the minecart with a block, heck you can make certain 'checkpoints' if you want by removing one piece of track.
- We can't just kick gravity in the balls and let the minecarts go up with the tracks, but accelerators/engines or some other thing would be pretty damn sweet. Even though they wouldn't actually be minecarts anymore if you'd add some way to make them move by themselves.
- The water bug is there, but it'll be surely fixed SOMEHOW, even though I think this will be a lot of hassle to Notch.
More complaining about mine carts, geesh, do you always throw away gifts you don't like the second after you got it?
You don't NEED to use the mine carts. Heck, I'd even banish them from you if possible.

Post count != E-penis.
Grammar, spelling, knowledge and common ****ing courtesy means more than anything.
And no this thread isn't a joke, it's pathetic.

Also 8/10, nice pic, but I still don't like the round corners, pretty painting-like pics shouldn't have round corners.

Also I USED to have a huge Batman Mug, I loved it, then it one day disappeared, only to find out 3 years later that my sis broke it, ****ing *****.
